The Declaration of Independents (DOI) reported yesturday that three Ring of Honor talents had been offered developmental deals by WWE and Tommy Dreamer. It was reported that Rob Feinstein was the one that set the deals up due to his close friendship with Dreamer. But the names weren't mentioned because out of respect of the talent because WWE could snatch back the offers if were to be leaked out.
But none of the three were said to be CM Punk and Samoa Joe in which it is heavily rumored that WWE has alot of interest in both of the talents due to Foley and Steamboat recommending them. And today the three names that were reported were Jack Evans, Jay Lethal and a contracted wrestler under TNA which all signs leads people (including myself) to believe it's Alex Shelley.
Also today on Dave Scherer's Elite audio hotline he reported that their were interest in bringing Super Crazy next month to expand the Cruiserweight division even more, officials close to Crazy noted that he was reluctant about the interest at the moment because he's working with an injured hand which could hurt his first impressions with the company and lose all potentional hope of every being used correctly by the company.
But overall if your a fan of the Cruiserweight division, this is great news for all!

<font color=goldenrod>JAY LETHAL!!!!!!
I remember giving him a Brock Lesnar-esque monstruous push in one of the old EWR games, with him capturing the WWE Title within 5 months after countless **** matches.</font> :o

Ah man I kinda want to see Joe in the WWE, I think he'd fit in well. But ROH needs him for the time being.
We want Punk!
Also, Alex shelley would be money on Smackdown! Maybe after Stryker was on the Kurt Angle Invitational, that could lead to one of the ROH guys debuting.
Why the hell would Rob Fagstein be setting up deals for ROH talent for WWE?
And Super Crazy has been rejected by Vince McMahon more times than I care to remember.

That's what I was wondering. Lethal has a very WWE friendly style. Shelley I can understand as well as he is oozing with charisma. Jack Evans caught me by suprise however. If they did pick up these guys, Velocity would be stacked.

I am glad the WWE seem to be doing something with the Cruiserweight Division. Alex Shelley could be a major player in the WWE, Jay Lethal is great from what I've heard, and Jack Evans is a spotfest wrestler who I can see working well with the cruiserweights, and probably RVD.
If they sign Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Jerry Lynn, Super Crazy & Raven (The last three probably won't happen), and send The Hurricane, Steven Richards, Tajiri, Christian, Val Venis and Rhyno over to SmackDown!, you have an extremely decent show shaping up.

I thought Shelley was in TNA?

He is. The rumour says somehting about the third guy being under TNA contract. That screams Shelley, simply because he was ROH and TNA, and he isn't really being used at the moment. Maybe Abyss and Shelley will come in as a tag team?
Anyway, I must say I wasn't too impressed with Matt Stryker when he was on SmackDown!. I've heard only good things about Stryker, but on SmackDown! he seemed a bit nervous and seemed a bit sloppy (his timing was a bit off, and he sold everything ridiculously). I'm not having a go at Stryker here, but maybe it would be wise to test these guys out with promos first, and a few dark matches here and there.

No way will they get Punk. He is the Tommy Dreamer of Ring Of Honor.
Only seen one match of Samoa Joe, and it was against Low Ki in his debut match in an very stiff match

By the way, doesn't the WWE claim that every year they are going to push the cruiserweight division and get more cruiserweights but then they always Kill it or bury it to no end

Foley is pretty high on getting Joe into the WWE I've heard
BTW if the WWE needs tag teams, get the Briscoe Brothers

I would mark out for a Briscoes vs. Bashams vs. Dudleys feud. I don't know how likely it is, but what do you think about ROH becomming a developmental facility for the WWE?

That's not going to happen, they are the 3rd biggest promotion in the United States and make money on their own, why would they become a feeder promotion?
And I think NWA Wildside *shudders* is going to be be Vinces next target for a development promotion

I don't particularly care for Shelley, as he's got an OK style for working as a face - not a heel. With the carny stuff, it's entertaining for a bit, but after a few bouts it's stale, and without that he has nothing.
I think that they should push for Stryker to go for an acting course. If he did, he'd be ready. He's got the talent, but he needs some direction in the way of selling and also promos need a little work - which an acting course would help with generously.

Don't forget to shave the eyebrows
I think it's safe to say that WWE has about as much interest in those wrestlers as they do in me.

I didn't really mean literally, I just mean like what ECW was, where WWE and WCW took their picks of what talent down there they wanted.
