DISCUSSION - If The Undertaker gets *traded* to RAW, who should go to SD?

As most of us can guess, the Undertaker and Kane will be headed for a collision course at Wrestlemania. Jeff Hardy is a homosexual, but this has no relevance to this post.

Anyways - IF the Undertaker gets traded to Raw (to begin his program with Kane),,,,,,,,,,,,,

Who do you want to see get traded to Smackdown in return?

I'm guessing that if Taker did go to Raw, there would definitely be a trade (I doubt it would merely be a 'contract expiring' type deal since Smackdown is in dire need of star power.....Taker would need a suitable replacement).

Personally, I'd like to see RVD and Christian head the other way. RVD can become a main-event face on Smackdown, while Christian can help out the CW division perhaps. Maybe a feud (or re-unification) with Edge could be feasible as well.

Matt Hardy. His gimmick can be that he just goes with the flow and as soon as a more attractive offer comes along, he leaves. I'm not sure who I can think of from the WCW/WWF wars that was like this other than perhaps Jeff Jarrett, but I think you know what I'm saying.

Except that would make him a REALLY impatient man... ;)

I actually don't think he'll be traded. He's dead. He can be on whatever freakin brand he wants.

Rob Van Dam. I think he would fit really well with the Smackdown bunch. I would love to see him face Rey Mysterio one on one

Yeah, same here. I think RVD can get pushed heavier on SD as well.......since they have less established stars. RVD would also be re-united with Paul Heyman in real life (if I understand correctly, the two are close friends).

With Goldberg and Triple H on Raw, RVD may never get a main-event push. On SD however, perhaps the sky is the limit?

Yeah. Usually contracts don't outlive the contractee.

Prolly because it's the WWE, and if it doesn't make sense, it's probably a winner? :p

Goldberg - this would then set up matches for WMXX between Taker and Kane, and Goldberg and Lesnar.

Yeah but Benoit might be headed to RAW to face HHH.

I would actually keep Taker on Smackdown. Then either have a real interpromotional match where neither guy is on the same show, but stuff happens between the two in the weeks leading to Mania (like lights going off and whatnot). My thinking, and Ive said this before is that Taker and Kane has been done so many times, that if they are on the same show, and they are coming in contact people will realize "hey I remember this fued, it sucks!". If you keep them separate you dont have that problem.

The other reason why i think Taker should stay on SD, is that it looks like Brock will still be champion coming out of Mania. If Taker has any momentum with the new (old) character, they might as well take advantage and throw him in a fued for the title with Brock. I know thats been done a few times, but if Taker is hot then they should exploit that. If he's not, then just dont do the fued. At the very least I think Brock vs Old School Taker for the WWE title would be a good program on house shows, and may draw back some fans to live events.

Putting Taker on RAW means a long fued with Kane, which isn't good for anyone.

That thread reflects a similar idea to your's. Basically I figure that if RVD goes to SD! he'll have an easier chance at getting a push to the main event scene. In fact I think it'd be better if he turned heel and reunite with Paul Heyman. He can go back to his "Whole Damn Show" gimmick from ECW in which he's cocky as hell, and much more entertaining. I've said this many times for those of you who read my posts :shifty: and I repeat myself again here because I think it'd be the best career move RVD could make.

The new Raw magazine has alot of info about 2004. Looks like RVD is staying at raw, but lots of trades are gonna happen and promises of new and improved story lines. Says for sure Lance Storm is moving..
