What was Shane Douglas's beef with Ric Flair?
They never explained it on the ECW DVD.

Might have something to do with what Douglas did with the NWA title, not 100% sure though, just guessing.

Douglas has heat with Flair dating back to when Douglas was in WCW in the early 90's. Douglas claimed Flair and other top guys were holding the young guys down and not letting them shine. Big surprise huh? I think Flair was booker for WCW around this time too.

^ That was it, he was saying how the veterans (Flair, Hogan, etc.) didn't wanna pass the torch and held down everyone else. A shame that their WCW feud in 2000 didn't go too well.

Shane says he, like others, asked Flair to watch his matches and give any adivce he could so they could all learn. For a while, he'd ask Flair about his matches and Flair would respond "oh it was great" or something down them lines. Douglas thought Flair wasn't even watching them so one night he tricked him by asking him about some spot in the ring he never even did and Flair said he loved it and obviously was lying. Douglas shunned him since. He also says it's not that he didn't watch the matches but if he didn't want to, he could have said "no" and he would have been fine with it.

LOL
I would have loved to have seen Flair's reaction when Shane said "Yeah too bad I didn't do that spot."

Did you take any picture by any chance?
:shifty:
Eeeer wait, anyway.
Seriously, does Flair think it's cute to show the crowd his ass? Awhile back I was reading a report where Flair's trunks came down and he didn't pull them up. He even climbed the turnbuckle w/ his ass crack showing. :nono:

Well I'd imagine he wouldn't care.
Another story...
Tom Zenk and Brian Pillman are out partying one night talking to a couple of girls (they always did this togther as they figured two good looking guys, one dark and the other blonde hair, girls would always like one of them), Zenk tell a girl he is single (which he was) and later that night, she come back shouting at him saying he was married. Zenk asked who told her that and she pointed out Ric Flair. He asks Flair if he said it and in typical Flair fashion, he lies and tells him how great he is. The girl comes over and says to Flair infront of Zenk that Flair told her Zenk was married. So what does Flair reply? "So? So? I'm Ric Flair! WOOOOOO!!!!" and does his little dance. Zenk said he just cracked up.
Zenk also asked Pillman why they hung around Flair at nightclubs and bars when he does things like this. Pillman said he didn't care because he was just fun to be around.

It was probably a good idea to hang around Flair when he did his dance in night clubs.
It means you could catch the ladies as they ran for their lives.
