P: Instead of having an eye candy match they could have had some diva be the ref and shake her titties because longer matches always are more entertaining like the HHH vs HBK match last year or the triple threat at mania.
P: There is no wrestler on raw that I want to watch wrestle in a normal match. Besides Eugene and Visera.

Heel team takes the advantage
Heel team works over one wrestler for a few minutes
Tease a couple of hot tags
Hot tag
Fresh man cleans house
Heel team wins by cheating, or face team wins clean.

Yeah, how come in tag matches when the heel team makes a tag and the ref doesn't see it it doesn't matter, but when the face team does it the ref tells them to get out? Let's be fair here guys!

Also, whenever a heel grabs the tights or ropes JR points it out and yells, yet when a face does the same thing JR sees no problem. Same thing with women getting attacked. Face women don't deserve it, yet heels do. :|

Oh yeah.. most matches are boring. Actually.. almost all of them now. I've yet to see a good ol' fashioned match. Like Ultimate Warrior vs. Andre. Now THAT was a match.

In my opinion, most marks would prefer shorter matches (more conclusion oriented).

Since marks compose of 90-95% of the fanbase, one would think that it would be wise to cater to them.

There is still a place for the longer matches, but it should be done on occassion.

Almost everything done in the year 2000 was perfect IMO.

Can't help but agree with tag team matches being boring. Alittle change now and then but nope. There's Resistance beating on Benoit or whoever while his partner is trying to get the ref to look, etc. But what can you do, as it's been like that for decades. It's usually the more interesting characters that change those rules at times, like I thought in the recent Rey v. Eddie match (both faces) when the ref caught the face Eddie cheating was different and fun. But either way, it shows you that the ref's rules are not always the same as some will DQ without warning and others don't DQ, even after ten warnings and attempts.

And yeah, Paul, Eugene = Ratings! ** AIRPLANE SPINS ! ** God, it's gonna be a long couple of months without that character.

I love longer matches....I would love to get my hands on some of the old Flair footage when he had those hour long matches back before WcW. I heard that some of those were really good.
