Watch there be some big dispute like the 1995 royal rumble except this time it will be a raw and smackdown superstar that tie. That would be pretty interesting eh...?

You mean like the Cena/Benoit dispute over who won the no. 1 contender battle royal?

yeah.

Well the Rumble is gonna be great this year.It has some great side angles(Like Booker and Kane) and Undertaker may well make his big return there.

But I don't think a dispute should suffice. I don't want Benoit or Kane to be involved in a "Who won???" dispute. If either of them won, he should win it fair and square. It'll be a great way to end the PPV.

nah they wont do another Who won finish so close to the last one that happened, It's good that this year there are a number of people who could win it instead of the out and out winner we have all guessed since 1998

Angle: I don't think anyone would be surprised if Angle won it, not a hot fav in my opinion but a solid contender

Beniot: IMO the person who it makes most sense to win, because of the whole Heyman thing with him saying your never gonna get a title shot again. The only way he can is to win the Rumble. Plus the fact that he's number one, so he's going to go a long way, maybe get thrown out in the final 4 so not to lose any heat on his push

Eddie Gurrero: Has lost the major pops he was gettnig in the summer (man the WWE blew that one) but if he can just have a match on a Smackdown before the rumble and finish of this Chavo thing he could be the winner.

Goldberg: *shudders* If this whole contract thing is worked out it wouldn't surprise me to just see him pop up and win the thing, lord knows i dont want that though

Kane: Nah just joking Kane is never gonna win a rumble (well not this one, they always just let him clean house once or twice and then he runs away because some guys in white jackets are chasing him and then he just runs away over the top rope, plus he's got this Booker T fued thing.

Jericho: On the verge of a huge face push and if they fully Turn him before the rumble and he wins it would get him on a huge roll going into mania

There are others like RVD and Cena plus guys like Orton. But i don't think there in any siutation to become a rumble winner

I think there's only 3 candidates this year to win the rumble...

Chris Benoit, John Cena and Goldberg

I hope Benoit wins because his feud with Heyman looks very promising.

Angle: Not unlikely.

Benoit: Makes the most sense, can't possibly win. :D Seriously, he does make the most sense, and I'd like to see him win, but I have zero faith in the WWE to carry through on it, for two reasons: It makes sense, and it's Chris Benoit.

Eddie: Eddie would be awesome. this angle with Chavo's freakin' stupid.

Goldberg: that which you have mentioned scares the piss out of me.

Kane: Two Words: Uh uh. He's been swatted down after every push, and throw in his Rumble History.

Jericho: It'd be cool to see Jericho win, but in order for the story to evolve, there needs to be a shot at the title changing hands at Wrestlemania. Unless HHH has another movie coming up soon, I think the only real chance is on Smackdown.

Yeah i agree :y: i would like to see Eddie, Benoit, RVD, Jericho or Cena win the rumble, but Benoit would make to much sense, like you say it is the WWE :shifty:

thing is, I don't want Eddie to win the rumble, because I want to see Eddie versus Chavo at the rumble. Partly because the storyline interests me, partly because I think they'd put on a solid as HELL match. Give them 35 minutes. Get chavo to pull out every sneaky trick in the playbook. THat would be a sweet as hell match

I think they'll tease Benoit doing the impossible but have someone else win. I hope it isn't Goldberg.

Kane could win....I think it would be great to see him at wrestle mania fighting HHH....but that means HHH has to be champ for 2 months. I guess its best if he fueds with the undertaker.

I think you mean the 1994 Royal Rumble with Luger and Bret Hart tying. Shawn Michaels won the 1995 Royal Rumble by eliminating British Bulldog.

I personally think it's going to be a Raw guy who wins it this year, if only because someone from SD won last year. And as much as I hate it, I'm pretty sure that guy's going to be Orton.

The way I see it going down is with Benoit and Orton as the final two, since everyone will be behind Benoit due to the storyline with Heyman. Benoit beats the living hell out of Orton, but the other members of Evolution interfere and screw him over. This sets up that stupid Orton/HHH feud they've been talking about for Wrestlemania, once one of them turns face.

Over on SD, Stephanie McMahon replaces Heyman as GM and gives Benoit the Title shot, therefore allowing him to have a Title match but still making him look weak for not being able to do it himself.

Oh, and they'll probably throw in an angle where Brock slept with Benoit's wife or something like that. I'm just trying to think like they do.

The Orton-HHH plan has been scrapped for this year's Mania

I think a guy from Raw will win it this year, they wouldn't have a Smackdown guy win it two years in a row.

Kane is likely to win the thing. I can just see him taking anoher route to all other RR winners. I can see him sacrificing the World Heavyweight Championship shot for a match with The Undertaker.

Eddie Guerrero really doesn't make sense. Chavo is qually as good as wrestler as Eddie, and seriously, none of them should win the Rumble. Neither are established enough as wrestlers to take the Rumble.

Benoit and Cena are likely to win, but I can't see Benoit winning, and Cena is too young into the business to take it, now.

Angle is another strong pick, but he seems to be the back-up to keeping the umble strong.

Undertaker and Goldberg are another two possibilities, but let's just hope the winner does heaps for the WWE, Undertaker might be able to help the WWE, even with his older age, but Goldberg seems to be a bit of a wild card in this thing. Let's see where it goes.

Or they could use that match for No way out as a filler for Eddie?

I think one RAW guy and one Smackdown guy will finish the rumble in controversy. Both of them could hit the floor at the exact same time. Benoit and Goldberg. Benoit will choose to feud with HHH and Goldberg will choose to feud with Brock. ah nevermind....

Unless something changes in the next 2 weeks, Benoit is winning it.

Benoit and Jericho fall at the same time, which would be awesome.

Seriously, this is finally Benoit's time

it's either gonna be Benoit, Goldberg, Kane, Angle, or possibly Cena. But I say Benoit all the way. It is finally his time to shine.
