Yeah, they are like punk/heavy metal/reggae. They are pretty good, the guitarist is a bit weak, but the singer is really good. You can hear their single "Nobody" on Need for Speed.
If you've heard of them, what do you think?

Skindred kicks ass. "Nobody" freaked me out when I heard it, in a good way. Their CD has some unexpected good stuff. Hope they stick around.

These guys are something else. I heard "Nobody" on a rock radio station a couple months ago. Not bad, but takes some getting used to.

I first saw Skindred in about 2001 I think, they're a nice bunch of lads. Good to see a British band doing alright.

Would definently have to agree....
I heard there song in Need for Speed and then my cousin got the cd. So like I do most CDs I burn them then decide to listen to them. They are pretty weird and there is only like one or two songs I like but there are definently something different.

I find it a bit sad they seem to have totally forsaken the UK in an attempt to crack the US, but I suppose it's nice to see them doing well. Some new bloody material wouldn't hurt though...

I have their cd, and I love it.
Destroyer, correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't a couple of the band members leave the band, so the new Skindred re-released their debut, this time only in the US?
Either way, I enjoy the cd. Hopefully, new material will come soon. Not likely though.

Ity was rasier for them to crack the US, they didn't have much luck over here with labels and stuff so fair play to them for going over to the US but I know what you mean. Would be nicer if they brought out some new material.

Hmm, looks like you're right. The guitarist and drummer have definately changed, first I've heard of it though. Could be enough to make the band suck, since the original guys had previously been in Dub War with Benji (the singer), who were innovative as hell...
It seems there's a few tracks on the US version of Babylon that are newish, since they weren't on the original UK release. :y:
