Hi, I'm from britain and I watch WWE every week, but there's one thing that I wonder about, you guys all know it's all fake and stuff, and sum of you are from the USA, so, the fans who watch WWE, do they know that its all fake, are there any hardcore fans who think its real, when they came to England, did they know that all the English know its fake, so do the USA fans who watch it, know its fake?

in the past, a lot of people did think WWE was real. When I was a kid i thought it was real, I remember when everyone at school was talking about how Undertaker and Hogan would be beating people like yokazuna. But in today's world, WWE is open about it being fake, and it doesn't hide the fact that it is fake. They even have that show.. i forget what its' called, but it's basically a "behind the scenes" wwe show.

Even though it's fake you have to remember it's still a lot of work to be able to pull off moves properly, and even more difficult to take the moves, especially in gimmick matches.

It's simple for me. I say wrestling is scripted but not fake. Try taking a knife edge chop from Chris Benoit, then tell me it's fake. ;)

First off, it isn't fake, it is predetermined. And yes Americans know it is predeterminded, and some think it is completely fake. I guess some kids might think it is real, but for the most part adults know it is staged.

Yeah it pisses me off when people say "fake" because it isn't. I mean, yes it is scripted, yes it is staged, but no it is not fake. Wrestlers are trained to protect themselves, yes, but like stuntmen, what they do isn't exactly fake.

Wrestling is like an art, and very similair to movies or theatrical performances. You have to make it look good and look real for people to immerse themselves in it, even if they know it is not what the performer makes it to be.
