From wrestlezone...

Erik Watts reportedly attempted suicide this past Sunday with an apparent overdose. There is no word at this time how it affects tonights TNA Final Resolution PPV in Orlando as Watts is scheduled to face Raven.

Talk of what Watts did this past weekend was said to be a major topic of discussion within the TNA office and it remains to be seen if he does end up working the PPV tomorrow. If he does, many in the company hope the crowd don't go too far in terms of messing with the wrestlers during the shows given his current state. This situation is among the many reported drug problems TNA is having with its stars at this time and some fear nothing is being done to change that.

It only took how many months after they signed Jeff Hardy?

That's really sad news. I saw an episode of TNA, and the one where Watts and Raven tried to beat down DDP dressed as druids. I personally think he has a good look, and he seemed to know what he was doing in there. I was actually going to make a thread asking why is it people don't like the guy. Is it something to do with Bill Watts giving him a job or something? Or is it strictly talent based? What I gathered from him was at least decent.

Anyway, that's really bad news, and I hope Watts makes a full-recovery, and does what he wants to do in life, whether or not that is in or out of a wrestling ring.

On a seperate note, do you think they'll use this in the Raven/DDP storyline? Given Erik's permission of course? I personally hope not (unless Erik really wants it to), but it really seems to fit the current storylines at the moment, which is a sad thing.

I hope Raven lies down for Watts, since that would fit the storylines as well, and maybe give him a warm welcome back. Just have Raven lie down when the match starts in a "WTF?" moment, and have Watts cover and go over.

colder than cold...ice cold

honestly Watts hasn't had the best reputation, but the man obviously needs help. He should be pulled from the PPV. Yes he's a performer but he's also a person who needs serious aid.

shiiit. this angle was actually getting Erik Watts over with the crowd.

Hope he gets some help with his personal life, so he can resume his career and be happy

I cant believe that it was even said. Thats horrible :nono:

I wonder if they will have a full match then at the ppv. TNA puts on some great matches and I was looking forward to this on the card. Hopefully TNA can still make it happen with out anything bad happening.
