...and you're not at them?

I am seriously not going to be able to enjoy Raw today, the whole time I'm gonna be thinking "I could have been there on floor seats if my dumbass friends were willing to pay"

and if something big happens i'll be sad instead of glad =\

sigh.

i almost killed myself during wrestlemania x8.. not being there and watching it on tv.

The only PPV I've missed in the New York area (from either the Continental Airlines Arena or MSG) since SummerSlam 97 was No Mercy 2004. My only ride (my grandfather) tore his quad (:shifty: ) and I didn't go. I didn't miss much, but I'm still pissed off about it.

Yeah, No Way Out 2003 was in Montreal, at the exact same moment I was stuck on a college skiing trip in Quebec City. :(

I'm always sad when RAW or SD! is in DC and I can't go. And I've got the money too! Damn work!

There is a wrestling event coming to my area (a tribute to the WWF).

You've probably seen these kind of things before. A Stone Cold who looks more like Gillberg, a guy with shoulder length ginger hair and a goatee claiming to be the American Badass.

Anyways, they always show photos of these guys on the posters.

This one coming up has a photo of THE Jake "The Snake" Roberts...

And none of my mates can be bothered going! How irritating!

Meh, 10 quid, might go on my own.

Oh my god, I know exactly how you feel.

I missed that one Raw in Edmonton where Austin Attacked the Hart Foundation during the National Anthem.

I missed tons of House shows after that.

I missed the one Episode of Raw where that dick from the crowd pushed Eddie Guerrero off the ladder during the main event.

I missed Backlash last year because I had decided to fly back to Canada a week later and it was too late to chnge the flight to a week earlier.

I missed an episode of Raw in Detroit because I had a shitload of work to do.

kjhfkjhjhgffdg

I am pissing myself off right now.

Well I live in Kansas, so that problem doesn't come up much. RAW came by last August for the first time in 7 years, Nitro was here once, and a Clash of the Champions a looong time ago. No house shows or PPVs, so that's about it. However, I did get to see Hogan (as Rip) do his matches for the movie "No Holds Barred" as they chose to shoot them in Topeka for some unknown reason.

Wrestling VERY rarely comes to Danbury, yet there are still two occasions I've missed:

-October 2003: I think it was October, but nevertheless...out of the two friends that would've been interested in going, one was busy and the other had moved to Maine. It was a Sunday, and the Giants were on bye week so I had nothing to do. It was mainly a bunch of indy unknowns, but Terry Funk was gonna be there. :(

-October 2004: This was a Friday Night. I wouldn't have cared so much about not going were it not for the fact that MICK FOLEY was there. :( Out of the same two friends that woulda gone, one was in Maine and the other had a band competition, so I ended up going to the school football game instead. To add insult to injury, the next day my friend in Maine was telling me about how he was at a Raw house show that same night.

Ah well, WWE is coming here the last day of February so it's all good.

Ive only ever been to 2 events in my whole life here in Houston...one was when I was small and the main event was Roddy Piper Vs Hulk Hogan and then the other was Wrestlemania X-7. Even though I dont go to them much I still get mad when they come to town because I tell me self that I could of gone. I just hope that nothing big happens.

I almost went to Badd Blood (I think it was last year or the year before) when Nash went against Triple H Hell in a Cell. Glad I didnt go because the ppv wasnt even that good. Except for Steiner slipping off the ring apron.

OH yea last july i was on vacation down in myrtle beach when i could of been at the Raw with the HHH/Benoit Ironman match.

Then i couldnt find anyone to take me to King of the ring 98 with foley ah it burns me up  and so many ppl i know always go i was there when foley got thrown off the cell it was crazy.

But oh well at least i've got to see HBK/Razor Ladder match 2 and Angle beat Booker for the WCW Title. Plus already bought tickets for No Way Out cant wait for the barbed wire cage match :D .

Chantilly Virginia. Which is why I've been questioning about where Maven is from since the offical bio is he's from Chantilly.

Not really. I honestly would prefer to just watch a show on TV unless it's something huge.

I've only missed two events that I still regret missing:

1) When I was in NY, and staying a block or so away from The Elks Lodge in Queens and missed ECW being there for what turned out to be an awesome show with Raven and all of that.

2) When I was supposed to take a vacation to Florida and could've went to what was the final Nitro ever. I had to cancel my trip, and lost out on going to the Nitro. I was pissed.

Yeah it bothers me if I miss the show that comes to Portland once every 2 years.

Next time a PPV event comes to Boston, I'm there.

Theres two big ones I missed, and in two different states. I lived in PA for majority of my life, so I was really pissed when I missed the RAW in Penn State when Jericho "won" the title from HHH. And the other one, I moved to MI in 2002, and I missed Vengeance. It was in Detroit when Rock, Hogan, Stephanie among others were there for the last time in the area.

Yeah, it sucks a dick with lava blocking the hole when you can't go to a live event that's close by. And another thing that sucks is that when I did get to go to one it sucked a dick with bullets coming out at me 'cause the show SUCKED. It was Armeggadon 2003 and everybody with common sense knows that that was a stinker.

Yeah I know, I was sitting at home watching RAW and was all like "Shit! I could have seen Viscera! :'( "

Ok, seriously though I didn't regret not going as aside from Jericho/Bentoit there was nothing really.

Something like WMX8 I was regretting I was not there.

The only one I regret missing in my area is the '98 KOTR. I went to the other two Pittsburgh PPV's, Unforgiven '01 and Summerslam '95. Won't be going to No Way Out in February; the thought of JBL and the Big Show in a cage makes me sick.

Floor seats? Gohan, you dick! I had 22nd row seats, which were not very good, although I did bring 3 other guys. Next time let me know when you get those seats and I'll go with you ;)

I was pissed when I was 14 and my parents wouldn't let me see Raw live from the Skydome in February 1999

but I made up for it when I saw Wrestlemania X8 LIVE

Tribute shows are the fucking pits, tell me where it's being done and i'll get it closed down.

Plus THE Jake the Snake wont be there as he lives in Florida now and has been arrested this month, so leaving the country may be out of the question

Yeah, Whenever Live events come to NJ or NY it's always the same. I either don't have enough money for good seats. Or No one can take me. Or I'm too late ordering tickets. I swear that AT Wrestle Mania 20 I was on the computer for 4 hours after tickets went on sale.

my cousin has so many wrestling connections it's ridiculous. He worked at skydome during WMX8, so lucky, front row view + got to meet everyone :(

so yeah, i can get the presale code from him as soon as it's released lol
