Well not really changed just like I listen to other stuff more than I used to. For instance I rarely listen to punk anymore unless its like semi punkish like Brand New or something. Now all I do is listen to the Arcade Fire and Interpol and stuff like that.
btw Funeral by the Arcade Fire is the best album ever
so has this happened to anyone else recently

I never did listen to that emo shit.
Funeral is a fantastic album. I basically listened to it solidly for 2 weeks, without playing anything else. I'd fake-play something else, but quit after 30 seconds and put Funeral back on.
My taste hasn't change so much as it's strayed a bit further from the middle of the road.

Listening to a lot of guitar/keyboard soloists and things of the like lately. Chris Impellitteri, Axel Rudi Pell, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Angelo, Vitalij Kuprij, Liquid Tension Experiment, Jack Frost, etc.
Intperol sucks ass, hate those guys, but Arcade Fire is good. Also Brand New isnt punk, its pop. You're just following trends.

Emo doesnt exist in a form of a single style.
Hell I may cry my eye's out listening to Beethoven - Symphony No. 5 In C Minor, Op. 67. But his music is'nt classed as Emo, i'm just emotionally connected to it. The "Emo" style of music doesnt exist.

I have been listening to a lot more rock lately, I don't know the genres though. There is like 235 different genres and I'm really not up on the "genre game"
I pretty much listen to rock when I'm on the computer because I got a ton of rock mp3s, but when I'm in my car or whatever its mostly rap because I got a lotta rap cds. I gotta get some new rap shit on my computer though, haven't really downloaded anything new in a while except for Tech N9ne.
I go to Medford alot, and if Woburn is similar then you live in the hood.

LOL nah Woburn is more suburb style. Medford is more city shit. We always smoked them in football though, non league games. They aren't playing them next year though, it was just a waste of time. Starters where out by the half.
Why do you go to Medford a lot?

Yeah I still listen to pretty much the same stuff. I dunno I listen to more "rock" lately, but still the usual Blink 182/Anti-Flag/NOFX and whatnot lineup.

Haha, me too. 1999-2003: Britney Spears/NSYNC/Five (I had my sister's taste) to Good Charolette (I liked them before they got a lot of attention, which kind of sucked for me. If I would've kept with them, I would've been mad popular as far as music goes.) to Metallica to Arch Enemy/Children of Bodom.
Now that I'm into ultra heavy metal, I go back and forth between all musical styles.
Intperol sucks ass, hate those guys, but Arcade Fire is good. Also Brand New isnt punk, its pop. You're just following trends.
yeah, anyone that likes them is just following a trend...

Being a retarded elitest on the internet is a worse trend than liking a popular band, so you lose.

I guess I've gotten more into rap lately, but at the same time I have gotten really into Tom Petty. Go figure.

Do I have to make you cry, RDD?? You the biggest elitist bitch on here yet you're such a pussy you cant even handle the mildest insult.
You're a bunch of trend followers. Anybody with musical taste knows Interpol is pure shit. Their first album was ok but then I when I heard this knew one I realized they were a piece of shit.

I listen to a lot of different things and I think I always did. I am not really good at describing what I listen to, but I have so many different kinds of music that it's hard to describe what I listen to as only one genre. Only some type of music gets on my nerves, but I think my tastes are pretty varied.
