View Full Version : Why did WWE keep S2H's 3½ month departure so hush-hush?

They just brought him back a week ago, I had know idea he was battling against cancer, I thought he was released. But it is great to know that this is not true at all and that he's back to doing what he loves to do, but why would WWE not at least mention back in October or November that he would be out of action until now? They kept quiet about Regal for a VERY long time as well, never even mentioned that he had some kind of heart condition or something like that...I wish wwe would just be more honest with the fans. It's not enough to make Cole and Tazz announce why S2H was out on SD!, Vince should make those kind of announcements, since they're HIS superstars.

Or, as I would put it, no one gave two shits about it, not even the WWE.

Dude, we're talking about the possibility of death. I didn't even hear Cole and TAzz mention cancer, I just heard the thing about a 3 month hiatus. GMS was out 2.5 years, and when he made his return last year, the place blew up. Ppl love Scotty b/c he's a great performer and he's been around so long. So yes, when the guy may very well be dead next week, I think most of us would appreciate knowing it.

Did you notice the 'pop' he got for the Worm? Biggest pop I've heard in a LONG time.

Except they were booing.

I honestly didn't even notice he was gone. I figured he was on Velocity, and I usually don't watch that.

Maybe he didn't want people to know until now.

Well the supposed "disapperance" of Goldberg hasen't been explained. His last match on his contract was for WM20 and there has been no announcement to the fans that he left ( commentators have forgotten him, no public announcement on WWE.com i think etc...)

EDIT: So if they don't explain the disapperance of a big status superstar such as Goldberg, the WWE certainly won't explain S2H's absence
