I didn't see an actual topic on the game, so here it is.
After the first drive my predicion stands strong, the Falcons haven't seen a defense this good through a telescope and it showed in the first drive. Vick tried to run twice and got maybe 4 yards total, and Dunn ran right into a wall himself. I don't think that big win over the 49ers prepared them for this :(

Yeah the wind is playing a huge factor. The Falcons can't put more then 10 yards right now.
Anyway, like I pointed out in the other topic, the Falcons have a middle of the line defense against bad offenses. Now they are really struggling against the Eagles offense. Some of the big plays on that TD drive were just real bad on the Falcons part.

Vick's run just now was a damn thing of beauty. Vick is amazing on the run. Say what you want about him as a QB, but he's the best evasive/rushing QB you could ask for.
That being said, the Eagles line is doing amazing today.

that 45 yard pass into the wind by Mcnabb establishes him as a better Quarterback in this game
If call stands and ex point good

Please remember that when TO went down, everybody, absolutely EVERYBODY decided that they had absolutely no chance to make the Super Bowl, except me**. I stood my ground ever since that they were still far and beyond the top team in the NFC even without TO, and now they proved it today. If TO comes back and can play, he will make a difference and I by no means would write the game off as New Englands. They definately had some big lapses in their secondary today, we'll see what happens.

Good for you. I am kinda glad to see them make it since everybody gives Rainman so much shit, especially from people whos favorite team is in the NFC (aka there favorite teams are all garbage)
At the sametime though, woulda been hilarious if they lost for a 4th time in a row. Looks like I gotta get rid of that Eagles trophy room picture on my computer now (It was an empty trophy case :( )

I sincerely hope Vick uses this to learn. As is, he's a great QB, but he has the potential to be outstanding, the best in the league. As is, he is far and away the best QB in the league when it comes to rushing and being evasive. He's got to learn that doesn't mean he can get away from anyone. There's a reason he's the 2nd most sacked player in the league, and it's not because he's bad. It's because he hasn't learned there is a time to run (which he should do a lot of,) but there's a time to throw the ball away to avoid a loss, there's a time to slide rather than get tackled to avoid a fumble, and there is a time to take the initial sack to avoid a major loss. When he learns that he'll be the QB that people build him up to be; until then, he'll remain in my mind an outstanding rusher, but a good QB. It's possible that today, the Eagles' outstanding D opened his eyes.

Duante Culpepper had a year like this a few years ago, where he was good and showed tremenous potential, but didn't have some basic things down like when to throw the ball away and such. Since then he has learned them and become an elite QB, and like HBK2K just said, if Vick can make the same changes as Duante he will be the best QB in the league hands down.
