Assuming the audience knows everything is exactly what Russo was good at doing. Anyone remember Hogan coming out, whispering in his opponent's ear (Jarret I think) getting a cheap pin, and walking out all pissy? Anyway you're right about the dialogue written in the script, but a wide range of people watch wrestling; so some of the dialogue is simplistic to appeal to young teens and uneducted people.
