Who has heard this CD? I personally think it has got to be one of the best debuts ever. What do any rap fans here think? Also if you like it download a song called 200 Bars And Runnin'(At least thats the title I got it at) It is a 9 minute "freestyle over the Deep Cover/Twinz beat.

I heard the song Fresh 83 with 50 cent, still pretty good even with 50 cent being in it. Dunno if that song is on the cd though, I havent heard it.

I'm a little hesitant to listen to it since the G-Unit moniker just screams Meh plus I'm not a huge fan of the single. I'll prolly listen to it sometime in the next 5 years

I downloaded a few songs off the album after reading this topic. They are alright, I don't know. Not good enough for a purchase though.

I kinda hate the idea that he is G-Unit and I think that will hurt him in ther long run but he by far different from the norm for G-Unit. In my opinion he should have stayed just Aftermath.

I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but my friend got it and I listened to a few songs. The song with Eminem is hot to death, but I won't speak on it from a personal standpoint until I hear the whole thing.

One of my friends LOVES the album. Says that The Game might be his new favorite rapper. I know I didn't like him THAT much off of "How We Do", but that song is decent.

But the guy who owns the CD that I actually heard the tracks from says that he was sorely disappointed. I dunno, I guess it's a coin toss.

Oh, and about the G-Unit label...I don't know if that really has much of an affect for me. Young Buck is the shit regardless.

Yeh, seems the hatred of G-Unit is still alive. You can't say the members don't have talent, I mean just look at Lloyd Banks and Young Buck so far, both great CDs, great flows great beats. Now, that Game is thrown into G-Unit, comeon this has to be one of the strongest groups in a long long time. Alot of people don't like 50 for one reason or another, but you got to give it up he's a smart man, has an eye for talent, and can spit. I mean I really don't see why all the constant hating on G-Unit....

Big fan of The Documentary, went out and bought the collectors edition when it first came out. My opinion, not a single song on the CD that isn't hot. Alot of deep songs, some club bangers, and alotta street anthems, comeon how can you go wrong? Yeh the initial single "Ho We Do" is getting played out, but what do you expect its featuring 50 Cent, and the man is pretty much running the airwaves.

My issue isn't really a "hatred" of 50 Cent or G-Unit but I feel it would just have seemed smarter to have him come out on his own. I just don't feel he fits in that "mold" but then again neither does Young Buck. All I know is that if this is any indication what I said to some friends a few months ago will happen...Aftermath is going to be unstoppable this year.

Ofourse people are going to say Young Buck and Game don't fit the mold of G-Unit because previously it was consisted of 50, Banks, and Yayo all coming from Southside Jamaca Queens. So G-Unit consisted of northside rappers, but 50 saw that Buck was something special, in a time that now the south looks like it might become known for "crunk" artists, which in my opinion would be terrible, Young Buck is very a lyrical southern cat. And in Game's case I really don't think it would matter if he was simply aftermath or G-Unit, infact it's probally better that he is G-Unit so that he could be on the group album if they ever plan on releasing another one which I hope they do.

Yeh, I pretty much agree that Aftermath is going to run 2005. Yayo and Olivia are scheduled to drop somewhere around midyear, Busta Rhymes should be dropping soon, Eve is going to drop, Detox should come out in Fall that is if it doesn't get pushed back AGAIN. Buck's second solo CD comes out late 05, so damn all I can say is that it's going to be a Aftermath dominated year....

I thought Dre said he wasn't gonna do Detox...he needs to though. Every 7 years that motherfucker drops an album it's hot shit.

Eva and Busta have been Aftermath for a couple months now. Yeh, Dre never said he wasn't going to do Detox he just keeps pushing it back, I think this is the 4th time he's pushed back the cds dropping date...

In the issue of I think it was XXL(Not sure what month but the cover was Dre,Eve,Busta and Game) I believe he said something to the effect of not doing Detox to focus more on the other artist on the label. And now I think he realizes how big it could be...I,m hoping it comes out mid2006 to keep it 7 years
