WWE has just released their pay-per-view colander for the next year and ECW is on the charts.

WWE has listed a show for June 12 booked for New York City. The description of the PPV is TBD. They have also not given a brand name for the PPV which means that they are still giving very serious thought into holding an ECW pay-per-view.

We'll keep you posted on the ECW situation but as it stands right now, it's on!

here's to hoping they wont mess it up if they have it..

They better pull this off.....they better tell Heyman that he can do whatever he wants for this ppv and let him take control.

This PPV is going to blow chunks of donkey diarrhea because you know it's not going to be a true ECW show. I will be attending however, since I live in NYC and I never got to see an ECW show when they were around. Never been to a wrestling show at all for that matter.

Since it's WWe run it's already destined to not meet it's full potential.

I mean they have a good few of ECW guys in the WWE right now but not the bigger names... Raven, Franchise, Taz won't wrestle, Sandman... even Funk.

Maybe Cactus Jack will compete. Still it won't hold that ECW feel to it IMO

I wonder if Dreamer would participate, as far as I know he's still under WWE contract. As for Sandman, Funk, and most of the old ECW roster, the last time I checked, they were free agents.

Plus dont forget about Nunzio, the Dudleyz, RVD (although he's injured) Rhyno, Spike Dudley, Foley, possibly New Jack. and others. But I bet most of them have been tamed by WWE and couldn't pull off a hardcore match anymore

Here's hoping this doesn't ruin the ECW legacy...

If RVD is injured, he should be an announcer for that ppv

I won't order the PPV unless Paul E is at the VERY least on the booking team. He should be head booker with a backing up Lance and Tommy.

I think that WWE will screw it up somehow and have Triple H face off against an ECW guy and beat him. While in the process, having other ECW guys come in and get beaten up by him, making them look like fools. Remember, on Smackdown, Triple H was facing...I believe Tazz and Tommy Dreamer came in and went to knock Triple H out but hit Tazz instead then get socked by H? I think something like that will happen.

Other than that, the PPV could have its moments. Like if they put on a RVD match or something. I don't know. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen though :)

well you know if WWE does it then they are going to have like 5 - 10 minute matches. There won't be 30 minute thrill matches with RVD vs. someone like Tajiri.

A true hardcore tag match with the Dudleys

Nunzio wouldn't be able to display his true skills

I really just think that WWE is gonna ruin ECW's legacy.

I love the idea of one last curtain call for ECW. IF and ONLY if all the main guys are there. There's a tribute to ECW guys who have passed since the company folded. Paul E. books it. And there are no restrictions by Vince such as if they were to sign Jerry Lynn for a one shot deal with Rob, it wouldn't suprise me to read somewhere that Vince limited how long they were allowed to work for and said not to do this this and this as it would make key WWE superstars look bad and less exciting.

My point is, I love the idea, I'm going to hate the culmination of that idea.

double post... who cares

why are these things always so exxagurated, it's being almost as bad as JR's exaggurations

"no name payperview in june, ECW payperview nearly confirmed!"
"kurt angle with the ankle lock, he literally broke his foot right off!"

Agreed. Just because they haven't named the show, doesn't mean it's a confirmation of an ECW PPV. I really hope they don't do this, because I just know it won't feel right, and I'd rather have no ECW PPV at all than a half-assed WWE-produced ECW PPV.
