Nash: Sooner than you think - I already have a title shot.

Nash could not stop resisting those tears after he reached the chapter when Charlotte dies in front of Wilbur.
Nash: Dude! I can't remember when Scotty was that skinny.
Photographer: This picture is going right into Webster's next the definition for Irony.
Styles: Strange week. First I'm sitting at home with Paul watching "The Rise and Fall of ECW", now this.

Taken from Wrestlecrap.com:
Yes, friends, that shot circulating all around the net is indeed legitimate. Our good friend Derek Burgan (who has promised to reveal the whole story later this weekend over at his website, GumGod) invaded this past weekend's WrestleReunion show in Florida with his copy of The Death of WCW in hand, hoping to get the man who calls himself "Big Sexy" to sign it. And sure enough, not only did Nash sign it, he also made a joke about how clever it was that we chose a shot of him in his Grand Wizard outfit. The best part, though, was the fact that apparently upon seeing the book for the first time, Joey Styles (sitting next to the big guy in the shot below) told him, "I talked to Scott Hudson about that book - he said it's very accurate!"
Am I surprised that Nash actually signed it? Not in the least. In fact, when Derek mentioned that he was going to try to get Nash to sign it, both myself and Bryan both said we'd be shocked if he didn't.
Nash, for all that I make fun of him, seems to be a guy that can laugh at himself, and one that doesn't really care want anyone says about him. He's made his money in the business, and seems content having done so. He doesn't feel the need to prove himself to anybody else. And for that I applaud him.
But, of course, that doesn't mean I'll quit making fun of him.
After all, what fun would life be if I did that?
One Down, Four To Go
Since Derek got Nash to sign the book (and since I am desperate to come up with a Super Bowl tie in this week), I decided to call my Vegas bookie, Jimmy Three Fingers (now there's a PWI gimmick), to get the odds on any of the other coverboys lending their John Hancock to the cause.
Vince Russo (1 to 1): Even money. Since Russo has already had a run-in with the book, and since he even offered to sign it for $15, it seems a given that getting him to sign would not be that hard. Besides, I'm sure he believes that nothing in the book is true. Add to that the fact that turning down an autograph offer would pretty much go against his newfound relationship with the Big Guy Above, and it's pretty much a lock that someone will be able to pull this off.
Hulk Hogan (100 to 1): Even with his new "I'm done with wrestling" attitude, I just can't see the Hulkster giving any of my fellow Crappers a most unique souvenir. I'm sure that although he doesn't view himself as even partially responsible for the company's demise, there's no way he'd never let anyone have any type of proof to that fact, even proof as trivial as his signature on a book.
Eric Bischoff (Infinity to 1): As unlikely as it is to get Hogan to sign it, I think I'd pretty much fall over dead if anyone can convince Bisch to put pen to paper. WCW wasn't just a job for Bischoff - it was his life. He was the man who took it to Vince McMahon in a way no one else had ever done, only to see it all vanish before his eyes. As our good friend John Tenta put it - "now Vince not only owns WCW, he owns Bischoff too." There is absolutely, positively zero chance of anyone ever getting this one.
Scott Hall (1:100): I don't think Hall would just sign the book, he'd probably offer to buy it a drink. This one should be the easiest one for anyone to get, provided they could actually locate the guy. I suggest scouring the local bars in Orlando on Tuesday nights.
