Rain Man, get the book out of the library by H G Wells or try and get a copy of the Orson Welles radio play thing that they did of the book. I've heard bits of it and it's awesome.

I've not seen the trailer, but I'm interested to know what exactly has made it the most expensive movie ever (supposedly).

it's not the most expensive movie ever. they found a way to actually budget it at around $100 million, i remember reading on comingsoon.net.

Have you scene the Superbowl teaser trailer?
That shot probably cost $54 million alone.

yea, my dad was telling me about the Orson Wells thing. I was like wtf?
Yeah man, it's a script by a little known author, H.G. Wells or something, he had his first big hit with that Time Machine shit that hit a couple years ago.

I have a copy of the original radio broadcast. I remember being really into it as a kid when my dad told me about it. How people were seriously freaked out because they thought it was all real. Crazy.
