And Musicmatch 10 won't work for me, so suggest me some new programs. Free or otherwise.

Out of the two you "fucked", why the hostility towards Winamp? Admittingly they botched up Winamp 3 and missed out completley on 4 but they seem to ahve it sussed with Winamp 5. Get it and fiddle with it! :y:

I wasn't all that impressed with Winamp 5, when I got it. That and it kept changing all my file associations, no matter how many times I kept telling it not to.

Also, I have iTunes because I have an iPod.

When you first started winamp you probably chose to let it reset all you file associations whenever its found they had been changed :p
