Ok, so we've firmly established that this is going to be a match at Wrestlemania 21. My question is, how do you guys think they will build towards it in the next few weeks?
Quite frankly im looking forward to it, but im not sure whether to laugh or be really confused at the past of Taker/Kane up until now. Lets see if i can get this right :

First off Taker burns his house killing his mother, father and supposedly his little brother.
Kane is found alive by his blood father, Paul Bearer. Bearer keeps Kane a secret in his basement, until he is older.
While Kane is being raised in a basement by his father, his brother is winnig titles and being a Phenom in WWE with the assistance of Paul Bearer. (during which time Kane must have sneaked out of the basement and gone to a party, in order to get accused of screwing a dead body)
Bearer then turns on Taker, and reveals Kane is still alive. Bearer brings in Kane and the two have a vicious rivalry for a while.
Taker turns heel and creates the Ministry of Darkness, meanwhile Kane finds his inner self and gets a girlfriend in Tori, and a friend in X-Pac.
Taker disapears for awhile, only to return as a biker. He later teams with his brother on several occasions - they must have really selective memory.
Kane helps his brother fight of the 'voyeristic' DDP and Kanyon to save his wife Sara. Taker tells Kane that he appriciates his help, Kane says 'anytime'
Brand split, and the brothers go to different shows after Taker loses the title.
The two meet again at No Mercy 2003, as Kane has been accused of having sex with a dead body after a party(even though he was locked in a basement as afore mentioned) and Taker was accused of having an affair. The two share an inaproriate comical moment at the top of the show as Kane turns to Taker and says 'So, how was your week?'
Later that year Kane loses the mask show 'horrible burns' that he got in the fire. WWE realised that Glen Jacobs has no burn marks on his face(big shock :wtf: ) so changed the story so that Kanes scars have healed years ago, but he is absolutly mental and thinks he is a freak.
Months down the line, Mr. McMahon gets Kane to bury the American Badass alive.
As the months go on, signs show that the Undertaker has risen from the dead.............for the God knows how many time.
Taker clashes with Kane in an anti-climax of a match. Undertaker got his revnge by pinning Kane. By the way, Undertaker returned with Paul Bearer, just to add to the confusion.

So a year down the line and Snitsky and Heidenreich are pounding the holy hell out of Taker in a casket match. When all of a sudden, Kane pops out of the casket to help his brother.

The brother who he tried to kill last year(and presumably suceeded if im following it right)

Excuse me for bein more than a little confused there.

Any way, sorry for rambling, but you get my point.
So back to the origional question, how do you think their gonna build this match up? Do you think Taker and Kane will have to tag reluctantly for a common cause ir somethin crappy like that?

Thoughts....

Is the WWE supposed to make sense? They forget everything while we still remember it all. All they want right now is a Brothers of Destruction reunion because who knows when Taker is retiring so why not one last time?

All the build-up for this match would be is how these two in Snits and Heiden have terrorized the Brothers, that for this reason they must team up and defeat them and maybe forgive each other for past actions. That's all, simple as that.

That is easy to explain, They hate each other but they're still brothers.

"You buried me alive a couple years ago, but I still love you brother!"

"So many years ago, you little arsonist, you burned me beyond all recognition (yet I am somehow healed), but I still love you too brother!"

That's actually LESS unbelievable than most of their storylines.

Yeah, but c'mon, imagine them saying that to each other and then sharing a manly embrace (not that you'd know anything of a manly embrace, faggot)

They are brothers, after all. It's ok for them to hug.

Remember, everything in wrestling is real, so you have to believe it. You bury someone, of course they will come back to life ! Just like real life.

The build for this match has been realy wierd.

Kane and Taker basically finished off their respective fueds during the week of the Rumble.

So it seems like the program is done.

In order to build it back up, they probably need to have say Heidereich show up on RAW one week and team up with Snitsky to destroy Kane.

Then on SD the two destroy Taker.

They keep Kane and Taker off TV for a couple of weeks, and then have one come back and challenge the two evil doers to a Handicap Match (on RAW or SD). Int hat match, the other BOD returns and they clean house on Snitsky and Heidy. Thats sets up the tag match for Mania.

I wish they would cancel this idea.

Honestly, I like the idea of the match. First, consider that Kane wasn't really helping Taker at RR, just stalking Snitsky. In the WM21 match, keep a deal of tension between them, sort of a grudging respect sort of thing. To cool off Heidenreich's "defeat" in the casket match, they could say that the experience cured him of his phobia of caskets, and now he likes them so much he sleeps in one (kinda like his enjoying the mental institution and loving the straitjacket.) In the weeks to come, either Snitsky or Heidenreich should cross shows to help the other pound his opponent... example, Heidenreich appears on Raw to help Snitsky get revenge against Kane for what he did in the cage match. Snitsky then appears at No Way Out to return the favor, but as the two are beating on Taker, Kane's pyro goes off, scaring the psycho duo enough so that Taker manages to beat them back (though Kane doesn't actually appear.) Repeat situation in reverse on the next Raw. On the last Smackdown before WM21, have Taker in the ring, and a TitanTron video of Kane appears, where he says something like "as much as I've hated you, I hate Snitsky that much more," and Taker responds with that one-knee hand-stretched pose.
To make it even more interesting, involve some kind of angle where Paul Bearer gets his revenge against Heyman.
OH and btw, in the actual match I say have Kane get the pin, which would sort of cap Taker's winning streak and allow him to step back. Though I think the best along these lines that we'd see would be some sort of simultaneous tombstone/double pin thing.

Undertaker's Phenom days were the best. He used to be my favorite..now I can't stand seeing him on Smackdown! cuz he's like a kiddie character now.

Not only is Taker going to win his last Wrestlemania, he's most likely gonna bury himself alive to seal his career in the only way that'll make sense for his character. Reality.

That would make sense.
