When they hear...THE POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUNCE?
I feel fucking sory for the announce team on TNA. Trying to pretend that's a devastating move. I mean, it actually gives the finger poke of doom a run for its money in the "crappiest looking finisher" category, and that was SUPPOSED to look lame.

The Pounce can look good it just depends who he does it to.
But yes the Pounce does suck overall.

Yeah. I was watching this TNA special on ESPN Classics and the announcers were talking about it like it was the most dangerous move in existence and building it up practically the whole match.
Then he did it. I was just like... "WTF."

It's lik elearning that the higher power is really a midget with a drinking problem and a tattoo on his penis that says "welcome abord."

Hey, it's just an opinion. No need to tell me to "chill," since I'm not horribly aggaravated. IT's just that, when he comes out in his little outfit, I can't help but crack up. Seriously. :P

Come to think of it, I try to like TNA, but they actually make the WWE look good. I mean, Impact this week was better than the comedy I've watched. Hyping Hardy vs The Abss, and watching Hardy trying to look all hardcore, like a poodle trying to be big and bad, was just priceless. half the matches were jobbers I could care less about, and the other half were mostly has-beens I could care less about.
You know, it's a shame, because TNA has a lot of talent. However, they make the WWE look competent, which is sad. I mean, the WWE still looks like someone shot Stevie Wonder full of crack and told him to fly a 747 through downtown chicago. So what does that say about TNA?

For those of you wondering what the pounce looks like:
If you are stading in the middle of the ring with him, he will whip you in one direction (lets say north, for simplicity) and run in another (either east or west) and hit you with a shoulder block from the side when you 2 collide in the center again. Most people sell it by jumping sideways all the ropes.

The Pounce is a sucky move. Unless you get enough speed on it.. then it can be quite.. less sucky. I did it to my friend once, I bounced off however.. since he's like.. 7'0 350 pounds..

Thanks Kane Knight. I came up with that the very first time I saw the POUUUUUUUUUUNCE! I was less than impressed. It ranks about as high as Jarret hitting people with a cardboard guitar. Doesn't impress me at all.
Maybe he should turn it into a side-ways spear. Same set-up and everything, but instead of just shoulderblocking his opponent, he wraps his arms around their legs and gores the shit out of them. It'd be a cool variation of the already over-used spear.

The thing that cracks me up about Jarrett's guitars is that he's always using an acoustic-electric guitar. Those things are more expensive than the cheapass acoustic I have, which practically IS cardboard. So why waste all that money on something you then need to PAY to have someone make breakable, when you can get that shit done by buying shoddy merchandise?
Maybe he objects to buying foreign instruments...Mine's a Yamaha.
