I remember Brock was not a coward when he was a heel at first (Pre summerslam win) and Hollywood Rock I think was not a coward. But other then those 2 I can't think of any others

and Austin. I was so happy that he whooped Austin's ass at Mania 19. That was probably my biggest mark out moment :)

eh LC I haven't seen half of those people ever wrestle.

yea, usually the old school heels weren't cowards.

The WWE loves to make heels cowards today, so you won't find very much. I guess Snitsky would be your best example today. He'll come out and fight without backing down.

Benoit was never a coward. He'd rip the shit out of any opponent and make them cry in the Crossface

Loose Cannon

yea, Benoit is definately one.

Edge is another good example right now.

I'm unsure about Hassan since he has only been fighting old people. I think Rodimer might have not been a coward if he was picked, he would of been better then Puder in his current role.

In the Rumble, Hassan was bad ass. He got right into the ring and faced off with about 9 guys. It was so cool. He stood right in the middle and was talking shit.

Bret, never seen him duck anyone or take off running consistently.

Definitely Taker, he feared noone.

Except during his feud with Taker. He pulled a Heidenreich and freaked out over caskets.

You answered your own question, Paul, and you did it right in the first post.

Yeah, while I was watching the Royal Rumble I was wondering why the hell they changed Puder's image. Puder made it because he kicked ass and was a UFC fighter. I do not see the point in turning him against the fans.

Rodimer was a natural heel. As far as charisma goes, Rodimer had IT. Not too sure about his athletic ability. He would have been much better suited for the role of getting the shit beat out of him by Benoit, Guerrero & Holly.

I don't recall The Missing Link every pussying out, although he was from quite a while ago.

Also, heel Mankind didn't seem to ever be a coward.

Mankind was a tangential psychotic. It's hard to really judge much of anything he did in terms of "fear." He was supposed to be detached from reality, so it's hard to judge any of his actions. :D

There was this old wrestler named "Andre The Giant" who might also apply.

Andre did run from the Snake.

That doesn't make him a coward.

Just a dude who's scared of snakes.

He didn't run, he just covers a lot of ground when walking...

He wasn't talking shit, he was praising Allah or something. When he realized he was being surrounded he tried to play cool, and after he got thrown out he beat up Scotty Too Hotty... maybe not cowardly, but certainly not badass. And he also backed down from Lawler on his first appearance too,
