I was flicking through my TV Thursday night (Smackdown was kind of boring so I didn't need to watch all of the replay) and came upon TNA. I saw it on the French TSN, RDS, at 11:30pm. It probably started earlier, but that's when I found it. I live in Ottawa, Ontario if that helps. I'm sure most of Canada doesn't get RDS. Hopefully this will stick and you won't need digital cable to see it.

Oh, and I liked it. I was skeptical of the six sided ring, but it's pretty cool. I'm not a fan of their set up with their entrance. It makes me think that I'm watching wrestling in the future.

Yeah,I posted a thread about how I got my hopes up when I saw a headline that said TNA would be playing in Canada but then said it would be on that French channel.

We don't get RDS here in Toronto. Most likely the only non-Quebec place that gets it is Ottawa.

TNA isn't bad at all. Since I started watching it three weeks ago, I haven't stopped. AJ Styles' feud is great...but they need to fix up a lot of problems with that promotion. GET RID OF BOTH RHODES! I think to get big, they need to steal one major WWE wrestler...

See, therein is the problem: I mean, not the Rhodes part, but the fact that they need to patch so many things up. It's like trying to sail on swiss cheese. While the Styles fued has been looking good, many of the angles are exceedingly bad, and for everythjing they do right they do about 10 things wrong. Looking over the PPV card, I can see only one match I'm really excited about, and it's Styles/Daniels. It's not like every other match SUCKS, but they're not horribly interesting ( for the most part).

That's true, but then again, WCW was just as horrible in its initial MGM days.

Watched it. Wasn't that bad. I already downloaded some matches, but those I downloaded all had Styles, Daniels of Williams in it, so when I saw some of the jobber matches, it was abit of a letdown. But I would watch it again.

Let me just tell you one problem with TNA they get guys who aren't wrestlers and put them on the PPV. For example tonight BG James and Jeff Hammond[some Nascar guy] are teaming up against Team Canada. And even the main event is bad let's just say that this is the first title match in which I really want Jarret to win. But the Iron man match, if done right and I'm sure it will be done right. That match could be talked about for years to come.

On the other hand, the WWE wasn't the total monopoly it is now either.

Unlike Pete Rose or Drew Carey, who were trained wrestlers...

In those cases my point is Pete Rose never really wrestled he was just a someone for Kane to tombstone or chokeslam after a match and Drew Carrey he also never wrestled, he was only an entrant for the rumble but then eliminated himself when Kane's music hit.

Unlike Pete Rose or Drew Carey, who were trained wrestlers...In my opinion those two were different. Pete Rose was just a guy for Kane to chokeslam and Tombstone. And Drew Carrey, he eliminated himself when Kane's music turned on

Howabout Rodman and Jay Leno?
Okay you got me there. I was not a big wrestling fan back when Jay Leno was in WWF or Rodman was in WCW or *shudders* David Arquette was the WCW champ. I forgot about that sorry.

Leno was in WCW buddy.

WWE had Iron Mike Tyson.

Yeah, I wasn't doing it to be a jackass or anything...just wanted to point that out though.

Either way, Pro Wrestling has had a shitload of celebrity involvement.
