But I really haven't cared much about Regal/Tajiri as a tag team. I mean, I like both wrestlers, but I haven't seen a damn thing in this angle that makes me give a shit about them tagging together. They feel like singles wrestlers thrown together for no good reason, which would be okay if they weren't the fucking champs.
I wasn't excited to see them win tonight, and in fact I was in and out of the room randomly.
Maybe I was spoiled by a great story-driven angle with Regal and Eugene, and it feels like they're dropping the ball in comparison. Still, even the cardboard heel team's reign seemed more appealing.
I hope they pick this up, but I really don't like it.

It's cause unlike with Eugene and Regal, Regal and Tajiri have had absolutley no backstage interaction time.
They need to get some of that stuff from when Regal was the Commissioner and Tajiri was his lackey or whatever going. That stuff was gold. They gotta get that kind of interaction going.

They need some backstage hijinx to make people care about them. Like they should hold onto the belts for the next 6 months. Maybe 3 months from now, start having Eugene show up backstage giving support, and have Eugene and Tajiri always be up to no good and have Regal always getting in trouble for whatever screwing around they do.

Maybe Eugene, when he returns, he could team up with Rhyno and fued against their former partners. That could be interesting for abit.
Yeah, all Taj and Regal need to do is to have those wacky backstage segments and have more actual teams competing against them. Otherwise, this will get boring real fast.
if being tag champs with someone was like sleeping with someone, William Regal would be the biggest prostitute on the planet

They have no interaction time period, really. There hasn't even been much character development in the ring. And that's the problem. ANYTHING would be more than what they've gievn them
Though I agree with the wacky backstage hijinx bit.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that they only have one set of opponents: La Resistance.
In my opinion, WWE should just drop the tag team division altogether. But that's an entirely different thread.

Maybe if they had a roster of more than 10 people, it would look appealing to have a tag team division

I think when Eugene comes back, Tajiri should get jealous, and knock his ass out ;)
That would set up a nice feud, and make Tajiri a heel.

havent seen raw or smackdown in ages, but the idea of Regal and tajiri in a tag team does sound interesting.
Like someone else said b4, my hope is that Eugene starts tagging with rhino soon.
DAMMIT GIVE RHYNO SOMETHING TO DO!!!

I'm expecting Rhyno to deliver The Gore to Tajiri in the near future, so we can see William Regal & Tajiri vs. Rhyno & Maven for the World Tag Team Championship.
I don't mind the current tag champs on RAW, but these guys can do so much for the division and it seems they're bing limited in the role.

That would, like...DOUBLE the number of tag teams on Raw!
No, but I get where you're going and I agree. They just need more tag teams in order for this to better work.
