oh man... i've probably gotten into 100-200 new bands/musicians in the past year.

i'll just mention the one i've gotten the most into most recently, and that's sleepytime gorilla museum. i've also been getting more into carl stalling and henry mancini, two wonderful composers.

I've had their "The legacy" album for about 2-3 years and for some reason I never really listened to them, but now they are kicking my ass. I don't know if it is because there has been a severe lack of metal in my musical diet for the past 10 months, or what.

I heard them by a mistake when I thought I was downloading a Straylight Run song, but it was one of thiers. Then I downloaded some more and got into them

They broke up in 2001 apparently though :(

That happened to me as well, except I thought I was downloading a Starting Line song. If Student Rick weren't such a good pop-punk band, I would have sent abuse to the person I downloaded it from.
