Ok well this is my first time posting and i read through some stuff and i didn't see anything on this topic. I am just baffled on why the WWE would now bring in someone that you can just tell is on steroids. After 5 seconds of looking at him I just thought is it really a smart time to bring someone like him in? If you think of baseball and all their steriods and a week or 2 ago either J R or Micheal (don't remember if i was watching Raw or Smackdown) said something along the lines as 'Our people don't even have to take steriods to do the things they can do. Its all talent' it was something along the lines of their. So is it really smart for the WWE to put someone like him on T.V. right now.
Also remember this is my first post on any wrestling forums so I might just be stupid but I just wanted to address this.

Most of the wwe wrestlers at one point or another have taken\are taking steroids. But at the same time its not as if theyre participating in a real sport where matches aren't predetermined so it doesn't really make a lot of difference. Not as if it helps them to "win" anything so why would it matter that much.

I still just think it's funny that he busted Steven Richards' nose in his debut.

They make him seem like he's bigger than the other guys but when he comes out, he's no bigger than Triple H, Luther Reigns, Gene Snitsky and I doubt he's even as big as Batista. Also he sucks in the ring from what I can tell, must be on the juice judging from the age he's supposed to be and the way he looks.
He's just another waste to the roster. What confuses me if that guys like Kanyon, Raven, Sean O'Haire and Ultimo Dragon would be released and new guys that suck such as Tyson Tomko, Chris Masters, Gene Snitsky etc are brought in.
It is retarded.

I think a steroid angle could be pretty good.
Like reveal that he is on steriods and then he refuses to admit it and they just play on that. Or he could go Canseco style and start naming names which could lead to fueds.

The thing though if he named people that used steriods they would probably be forced to stop so i doubt they will go with that agnle.

That steroid anmgle actually sounds pretty good, but I think it hits too close to home for WWE.

Dude, welcome to the forums, but you need to realize that even Rey Mysterio is juicing.
Have you seen what he looked like in WCW?

The only problem I have with "The Masterpiece" so far is his finisher. I hope that the full nelson is his finisher because in the time we are in today where everyone expects flashy moves or some kick ass looking pain thing there is no way we can really picture someone winning anymore with the full nelson. Sure in the past it might of been one hell of a move but today as a finisher it is just a joke compared to everything else that is out there.

Yeah, having 92 roiders on the roster is okay, it's that 93rd juicer that's really gonna fuck shit up.

And he's not even the most obvious roid user.
While I question the intelligence nehind it, it's so common in wrestling that it's really pointless to single anyone out...Except maybe Sntisky...A little TOO obvious thurrrr

Hey, guys, help me out here. I remember in the early or mid 90s, there was this wrestler who I think used a full nelson (or modified version of it) as a finisher. I think his name had "proto" in it or something to that effect, and my memory is that he wore gray. He was kinda built up as a vicious animal type of a guy, though he wasn't exactly huge (ala, say, Gene Snitsky). Anyone have any possible idea who I'm talking about, or am I just remembering really badly?

He looks like a cross between Randy Orton and Rene Dupree. He's 22, and I can not take a wrestler who is the same age as me seriously as a big name wrestler on his debut match. It takes months and months and months on consistency. Plus he busted Richards' nose in his first god damn match.
But you know it's going to happen. He's going to win squash matches against Tajiri and the Hurricane to make him out to be this huge monster. Aaaaaand no one will care.
He's doomed to be released. I give him under a year.

Hercules used it, Billy Jack Haynes used it and Warlord used it.
Adonis used a sleeper called "Good Night Irene."

I don't think that was a botch. I think the WWE really planned this. Just to show how powerful this Chris Masters guy can be. I mean they're hyping him up as a big powerful man. ANd I think there could be a chance that they planned this just to show how powerful he can be. That's my two cents. I think this guy could be good. I kinda see a future for him.

It's hard to purposely make somebody's nose bleed. I mean sure you can hit him in the nose, but who knows if it will actually bleed from the shot or not.

The thing that gets me the most about Christ Masters and his "Masterpiece" angle, is that their are plenty of other super ripped roided up wrestler's in the WWE....
Yet for some reason, unbeknowst to me, Chris is the Masterpiece.
50% of the roster is big guys, and 90% of all the wrestlers are built like brick shit houses. Why WWE why is Mr. Masters so awesome.

yeah they can bring in Canseco to be his manager i could see it now
* masters getting the shit beat out of him then canseco throws in a can with spinach on it...masters grabs it and a bunch of green pills fall out into his mouth *

I like that idea Heyman.
My main problem with his gimmick is that A) they just did the exact same gimmick with Jindrak and it failed, and B) he doesn't have the best body int he company. If you are going to have a gimmick saying you are the "masterpiece" you should look better than everyone on the roster. But he doens't, not by a long shot.
I like that they are trying to give these new guys gimmicks when they come in, but they should really think these things out a little more.

Because it's a gimmick?
I mean, I hate to say it, but most of the time, these "special" folks are only special because the WWE says so.

If they team up Masters and Dean (which they should because both are going no where) they should make them into a comedy team eventually. With the mic skills that Dean has been showing he could make a great funny man with Masters playing the straight guy.

Batista and Jindrak do, Jindrak may not be as big but he's incredibly ripped, Cena and Dupree are close too
