So while listening to Hunter yap on RAW usually I try to catch up on my sleep. But last nigth with the culmination of the Batista angle, I actually listened.

His proposed idea of a faction "running things" by holding World Titles in two promotions got me to thinking; thats a cool idea.

Since we all know Hunter will ALWAYS be in the top mix, its important when doing fantasy booking to keep him in there. Moving him out of the top mix is just pie in the sky thinking, so why bother?

Anyway, here's my idea:

Seems like Big Dave is going to get the World Title and Cena will be WWE Champ. Also rumoured is that Randy Orton will be headed to SD and turning heel. Which is logical because they can do something with him and Cena down the road.

So why not have Orton and HHH get their respective titles with help from the other. They could have this happen at one of the dual PPVs (I'd say wait till SurvSer), and have HHH help Orton win, and Orton help HHH win. The next night on RAW they reveal that the original Evolution is back together, and 'stronger than ever'. Orton says he realizes he should have been a team player, and now that he is, he's the WWE Champion. Hunter can boast that they are the strongest group in the history of wrestling.

Hunter leads an Evo faction on RAW and Orton does the same on SD. That would give them a lot of cannon fodder for Batista and Cena to fight through.

Both Batista and Cena would be pissed, and would look to get revenge. They could have them chase for their respective titles going into Mania 22, or maybe switch sides and have Hunter-Cena on RAW and Batista-Orton on SD.

That's pretty good.

I'd also include a couple of midcarders to hold both the U.S. and IC Titles as well.

Maybe like Maven and Charlie Haas.

It sounds like a great idea in theory, however I'm not so sure the execution would be so good. I mean I would get really tired of seeing the same basic storyline on both shows, especially since we've been seeing the Evolution thing on Raw this long already.

It would also seem like a bad idea to me if the WWE wants to keep the brand split intact. It would be harder for me to maintain the idea of the shows being independant of one another when there are weekly references to the other show and even moreso a faction that works together. However, that's not that big of a deal because they do tend to talk about the other shows fairly often anyway.

That actually sounds like a great idea. Could be something like Rock vs. Austin...only not that great...but something like this rivalry.

Aaredub, yep...last year it looked like it was molding shape into two different shows...but now it's like friendly. Back when Heyman was leading Smackdown!, there was constant bashing of the other brand...now they're both friendly.

Yea, cool idea. Love watching stables and heel Orton is always welcome, so I'm for it.

How about this though:

With HHH's stable, he would gather up a bunch of veterens and not some young guys. Maybe Benoit cause of his ties with Flair. HBK because of you know why. And then maybe like Angle or something. HHH has been talking about the Horsemen and DX a couple of times, so your actually combining them a little here with Benoit, HBK, HHH and Flair.

On Smackdown however, Orton gathers up the younger flock. Haas, Reigns, Jindrack (only cause I think thier good freinds in real life) and maybe even CCC. They do the arrogant punk thing and while HHH's group would still dress in suits like Evo/Horsemen, Orton's group would dress more like a Gen X type of group. Jeans, T-shirt, stuff like that.

Then down the line, something would happen between the two groups and they would have a falling out. Maybe Orton and his group do something that's way beyond the line and HHH wasn't going to stand for it and confronted Orton about it. Then Orton turns on him and HHH gets beatdown by Orton's group culminating in some 4 on 4 match at a PPV or something.

Yea, that sounds great. HHH's group can wear black and white while Orton's group wears black and red :shifty:

I'd have the stables look something like this:

RAW
1. Triple H
2. Ric Flair
3. Billy Kidman
4. Chris Masters
5. Victoria

SmackDown!
1. Randy Orton
2. Arn Anderson
3. Doug Basham
4. Danny Basham
5. Carlito Caribbean Cool

3. Matt Hardy (or Val Venis)
4. Maven
5. Victoria

[B]SmackDown!
1. Randy Orton
2. Arn Anderson (or Paul Heyman)
3. Mark Jindrak
4. Luther Reigns

Those are some great ideas.

Cena wins the title at Mania and keeps the title til SurvSer, while in the meantime Orton goes to SD and lays low in the upper midcard for a while picking up big wins as well as Cena. Then the two finally clash at SurvSer and HHH helps Orton beat Cena for the title, and sets up a multiude of programs like you guys mentioned above.

That would be awesome.

Thats why it'll never happen

It would be awesome, but I see HHH flying with just Flair for a while, that or Orton rejoining them.

Great Idea.

Funny - I looked so forward to playing the 'role reversal' with ya CyNick :p (i.e. You presenting an idea, and *ME* being the one to give feedback :D).

Unfortunately (or fortunately? :?: ), I can't really say too much because I agreed with everything you proposed.

Just one thing though - Even if Orton/HHH don't form an "interpromotional alliance" of sorts, do you think its possible that both Orton and HHH team up to take out a common enemy in Batista? (all on RAW obviously).

Think about this:

-Batista wins the title from HHH at Mania'

-Orton challenges Batista for the title......stating that if it wasn't for the concussion that he suffered against HHH, then *HE* would've done what Batista had done. Batista/Orton feud.

-Orton/Batista feud. Their first PPV goes to a no-contest. During their second PPV match however, Triple H makes his way down to the ring......and attacks Batista. Orton gets the pin. After the match.....Triple H and Orton stare down one another.......but then shake hands. An alliance has been formed.

Basically - Triple H and Orton still hate each other........but they want to keep the World title in between them.

To be honest though - your idea still sounds a helluva lot better.

Triple H and Orton can both dominate RAW and Smackdown. In this sense, Batista and Cena would both have a common enemy with this new form of Evolution.

Around January or February however, both Cena and Batista win back their respective world titles. At Wrestlemania - we see a face vs. face match-up between Cena/Batista.

The other thing with this (assuming that Orton/HHH form an 'alliance', while Orton gets sent to Smackdown), is that both HHH and Orton can appear on both shows......due to a loophole.

On Smackdown, HHH qualifies as Orton's manager. Therefore - he can appear on Smackdown as Orton's manager.

On RAW - Orton qualifies as HHH's manager. Therefore - he can appear on RAW as Triple H's manager.

I actually like the idea of both guys being on separate shows. That would make it seem really special when they come together for dual PPVs. Imagine the Rumble, you have a Orotn led version of Evolution on SD and Hunter's version on RAW. In the Rumble match, they would seem unstoppable with like 5 or 6 guys working together.

They coud form an alliance on the same show, but the only problem is that the problem between Orton and Evo was that Orton tried to take the spotlight from Hunter for himself.

Hunter would prefer to have his own spotlight, and let another guy (Orton) take over the other show.

Down the road, like LC mentioned, they could have a falling out over that very thing. Orton could say Hunter wanted to keep him on SD so Orton didn't take him out. Hunter would scoff at this, because he beat his ass before. But then (and this would be a ways down the road) you turn Orton back face and have him take out Hunter.
