Alright, I have the cord that you need and the adaptor that goes into the back of it. I plug the thing into the back of the adaptor in the back of the PS2 to the back of the cable box thing that I have.

I have cable for an internet connection. I'm always connected. So, I go to ISP setup when I put the Start UP Disc in, and then hit I Do Not Have An ISP. Is that right or no? Then it gives me a list of names (Yahoo, Earthlink, AOL) and if I click one it gives me info.

Am I supposed to call one of those and they'll connect me or did I do it wrong?

You DO have an ISP. If you're connected all the time, it's most likely DSL or Cable.

Sorry, you said you have cable. Who provides your cable?

Comcast. I believe thats the right answer.

I just tried hooking it up by reading through the set up booklet. I'm doing it right but everytime I go to Test Settings it says that the connection timed out. Does it have anything to do with a firewall or something? Something not plugged in correctly?

First question: How are you connecting?

Are you using a router, or are you jacking in directly from your modem? You may have to forward ports to even connect with the former, and in both cases, you'll need to reboot your modem most likely before trying to connect.

You ever get it fixed? PS?
