Honestly, WWE won't let little guys fly around the ring like they really can. They also won't let them do power moves to each other (like powerbombs or whatever) even if they are strong enough. It is like saying "I want to buy a sports car that is ugly as hell and has 2 horse power!"

Cruiserweight in WCW was successful for a reason. It was ENTERTAINING and contained HIGH FLYING moves. WWE version SUCKS! It's an absolute snoozefest.

I think people have been just a little too hard on the cruiserweight division. I mean sure, Cruiserweights were good in WCW. But this isn't WCW. And anyone expecting the cruiserweight action you see in WCW should turn to a different wrestling program. Like TNA, I have seen the action there and that is well I can't say as good as WCW cruiserweights since I have never seen WCW. But it's pretty damn good. Point is some people are expecting cruiserweights to fly around doing flips and all that shit like they did in WCW. And as said before WWE isn't WCW. It's a way watered down version of the cruiserweight action that TNA and WCW have/had. And I'm not saying that this stuff is any better. But I happen to like it when Cruiserweights aren't fliiping all over. I mean it is wrestling after all not some acrobatic circus. Now, why they have a point in having a cruiserweight division? WCW had a lot of credible entertaining cruiserweight matches or so I've heard and WWE is just trying to be as entertaining as WCW. Point is don't expect to be like they were in WCW when you see those matches. That's my two cents.

wwe has always been a big man organisation ratings an exciting matches dont really matter to vince anymore. The point of having a crusierweight title is to get all the small guys tv time, could it be better sure, no argument from me
It's a circus for Vince, and he knows how a circus does business. You dont put the elephants on before the juggling act, you save the big stuff for last. In wrestling, he tries to maintain the same type of balance, and the lower-to-mid card cruiserweights can't be more entertaining than the main eventers.
I believe it is pointless to have a cruiserweight division. It holds down incredible talents like Rey Mysterio, who could possibly be a credible contender for the US Title if given the opportunity, but is labeled as a "cruiserweight wrestler" and doesn't get any shots. Same goes for guys like Kidman, Chavo Guerrero and Paul London. I think they should get rid of the CW title and maybe bring back the TV Title or European Title to fill the lowercard void.

You also don't run a circus by having boring shows early on because your finale is so boring people will go dead during it.
Please, these are just pathetic excuses for bad showmanship.

When their is a match they just blow and nething exciting anymore. Most the sutff has been done and they quit doing new stuff. Most of the good old stuff they dont do. Yes their are a few off the top row moves but not many. When I see them I want to see them flying, not to have them wrestle like the midcards but not as good.

what is wrong with you? :?:
anyway the cruiserweight division has all the talent to become the best. To be th best. The only thing holdin them back is the man himself. He doesn't want his main attractions to be outshined. He has forgotten about entertainment in a way.

Personally I thinkt hey should give Paul London and Akio time to work an Iron Man Match on Velocity for the WrestleMania Cruiserweight Title Shot. Hae Chavo continue defending the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in matches against Shannon Moore and Nunzio to pass a week or two, then build directly to the Chavo Guerrero vs. Paul London match.
Let them put on a 20-minute match at WrestleMania, and have Chavo win pulling the tights and putting his feet on the ropes. At Judgment Day have a Ladder Match between the two, and have the match ruled a No Contest when London is about wo win and Frankie Kazarian runs down and pushes the ladder out from underneath him, climbs up and takes the title for himself.
At The Great American Bash we have a Triple Threat with (hopefully) a lot of heat, as Chavo defends against Kazarian and London.
I think the WWE needs to do some other things to make it seem like the division means something.
5 minutes on SD! isn't really enough. Two cruiserweight matches occasionally would be good, but even one would be acceptable, as long as the limits are raised and the guys can have a decent amount of time to show their stuff.
