Yes folks, take a look at these pictures. Those are picture from the upcoming midquel Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest. There are more here (http://www.disneydatabase.com/movie_screens.php?movieid=299).

I remember SNL joking around about a Bambi sequel a few years ago (David Spade was the voice of Thumper) and thinking "Nah, there's no way they'll ever make a Bambi sequel." Boy was I wrong.

On the bright side, Patrick Stewart is going to play the voice of Bambi's father.

It was only a matter of time.

I'm still waiting for the animated Through the Looking Glass (Alice 2). Animated Jabberwocky all the way.

Of course they would make a sequel of this....when you look at movies now they seem to be running out of ideas. Everything is the same and that is why I think there are so many sequels going on. Not because the first movie was good but because some companies are finding it hard to think up new ideas.

I read that there was gonna be a Bambi sequel a while before this but this is the first time Ive seen screenshots from it.. I guess I will probably have to see this for the fact that Bambi was one of the first movies I saw.

Premise: The new film is a 'midquel', the story taking place in the middle of the first Bambi movie. It is your basic teenage angst tale, dealing with Bambi coping with his Father, the Great Prince, and his finding of a new mate while an orphaned Bambi comes to terms with his Mother's death.

Meh, we'll have to wait and see.

I posted this in a topic a while back...Disney is a disgrace, not unlike they were during the 70s-early 80s

I am amazed by the things Disney does, but in a good way. Their whole system is intriguing.

they just believe that every single movie ever made deserves a sequel when really they don't. They just can't leave movies alone.

And all the retards who buy the sequels validate this belief.

But this one takes place moments after Bambi's mother gets murdered, judging by the first pic I posted.

I'm afraid they'll ruin the character of Bambi's dad. There was alot of mystery around him in the first film. Hell he looked like a hardass in the first movie who wouldn't take any shit from noone.
