From an unknown person 'On
the way home from work Friday night I stopped for a few beers at a local
pub. I sat next to a guy that I have known since I was a kid, he is a
bit older than I am and his kids are pretty much adults. His daughter
plans to be a career military woman, as does her future husband, the two
met while serving in Afghanistan. The young couple were in the
Washington D.C. area about 3 weeks ago, they wanted to do something
special before returning to active duty, they decided on a great meal at
a restaurant they truly could not afford, and would just load it up on
the ole plastic magic. The couple walked into the establishment wearing
their most formal military attire, a few moments after being seated,
they noticed a huge, very well dressed man approaching their table, the
young lady later told her Dad the huge man was smiling, he said hello
and thanked them for serving, and protecting the country. The young
ladies fiancée thought he recognized the man and asked if he was a pro
wrestler, he nodded, smiled and said yes, as a waiter came by the
wrestler asked him to bring the young couple a fine bottle of wine,
anything they want, were his words. Then the huge man told them to enjoy
their dinner and stay safe, well, when dinner was complete the bill for
the food never came, the waiter came by and told them Mr. Dave Batista
had paid for everything including the tip.'

A very awesome move by Batista. :y:

People better not ask him for money now... you know that is what happens when you do a good deed, everyone wants a deed done for them.

Cool. Batista is AWESOME. Down to earth and a nice guy AND a wrestling star? Rarely see that. Awesome news!

You know, Tista is truly turning into the man. All you hear about is how soft spoken and humble the man is, and this truly shows it.

What if I'm anti-war? BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It's not the people in the military's fault, greenday. And this wasn't a thread about your views on war, it was about Batista covering somebody's check that he thought deserved it.

El freg is right. Who cares if you're anti-war? Hell, Canada is mostly anti-war and has a (bad and out of shape) army.

Batista is incredibly great.

Good on Batista for being the man in and out of the ring.

What if I'm anti-war? BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Are you retarded? Being pro or anti-war doesn't have anything to do with this. Batista was showing appreciation for people who do a job that could very well result in the end of their lives. That couple didn't declare war on Iraq or Afghanistan, they were deployed there. Save your anti-Bush/war sentiments for the discussion forum.

I was being sarcastic when I said, "what if I'm anti-war? BOOOOOOOOOOOOO" because it had nothing to do with the initial statement. Oh well, I fucked up.

That was the response I was hoping for. Someone who knew I was fucking around, but like I said...my fault...kinda hard to tell that shit on the net.
