Anyways, since Hogan is being inducted into the HOF, and will probably be at Mania, I think they should do this:
-Have JBL beat Cena by DQ.
Then, the Hulkster comes out and stomps JBLs fuck in, drops the leg, and about 10 secs later is the WWE Champion again (a la WM IX).
I'm sure you're looking at your screen kinda funny, but hear me out:
- The next night on RAW, during the draft lottery (with both rosters in the building for a little shuffle shuffle), Hogan comes out and basically gives the retirement speech. Thank you for the years of support, yada yada yada. He calls out Theodore Long (playa) (or VKM) and then starts on about the belt and says he just can't do it anymore...so he's fofeiting the belt. He hands it to the authority figure, and walks away. SLOWLY. By now you've got a HUGE standing O, and all of us at home marking one last time for years of memories...you know.
So, the whole night, the announcers play up that there will be an announcement about the belt at the end of the show (after the rosters are mostly finalized). Hopefully, They plan it so SD! gets some good talent off RAW. The announcement, of course, is an 8 man tourney for the belt, culminating with a finals at Judgment Day (or you could extend the tourney out more and have it finish at Summerslam).
I dunno, I think it buries JBL, is a tribute to Hogan, and gives a tourney with some fresh match potential...what do you guys think?

... John Cena is going to win it, plain and simple. It's build too far for Cena not to win it.
..wait that's Batista.

Hogan doesn't deserve it.

If you want to tribute a wrestler give it to UT and run that angle. If he jobs to Randy then wins the title it could really help Randy's heel turn, remember Owen at Wrestlemania X (I think) when he beat Bret then Bret beat Yoko

UTs not really DONE yet...
Plus, I don't think I would run the angle with anyone else but Hogan because Hogan really made pro wrestling mainstream and realy kept it going for those years, he was/is the HUGEST face in wrestling.

I think it is a bad idea. Cena is on the verge of stardom. He is over, even if his wrestling sucks, so it means the guy has HUGE potential on charisma only. He must not lose at Wrestlemania.

Hogan should just go home and play with his Cock.

See, the thing with my idea is Cena doesn't JOB. It's out of his control that he lost...which gives him a fire under his ass to go far in the tourney.

if that was gonna happen, i'd rather see Austin stun JBL than Hogan dropping the leg again.

I have this thing played out in my head where Cena gets support from Eddie Guerrero and Stone Cold Steve Austin leading into WrestleMania.
The match goes pretty much in Cena's favour, with The Cabinet helping JBL gain control (for the heel works over the face routine), but then Cena battles back, when Orlando Jordan distracts the referee, and one of the Bashams nails Cena with the WWE Championship. It is not enough and Cena again battles back. The Cabinet gets involved, but Cena appears to get control of the situation but........CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!!!!!!! 1-2-No! Cena kicks out! Cena again battles back but just as he looks to be setting up for the F-U, Cena ducks out fo the ring and starts taking out all the Cabinet members. JBL hits the referee out to desperaion to retain the WWE Championship.
Cena gets back in the ring, sets up for the F-U. STUNNER! STUNNER! AUSTIN HITS THE STONE COLD STUNNER ON CENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JBL smiles as things appear to be going his way, and he exchanges a smile with Austin. He covers, 1-2-Cena kicks out! Austin looks pissed and is set to return the ring, but Eddie Guerrero is on the scene! He starts hitting Austin! Eddie Guerrero runs to the ring he picks up the WWE Championship. He scouts JBL, but switches to Cena, then JBL, then Cena. He nails Cena with the belt. Eddie places it on Cena's chest, then climbs to the top rope and hits the Frog Splash on Cena with the belt adding tot he damage. The referee's awake and JBL covers, 1-2-3!
JBL has retained the WWE Championship and won the WWE United States Championship!
You then you run a journey of discovery angle with Eddie Guerrero, who was promised the WWE United States Championship by JBL if he helped him retain. Cena is pissed at Eddie, but he decides he's going to get his US Title back before he takes the WWE Championship. Teddy Long then decides that JBL will defend BOTH his Championships at Judgment Day in seperate matches. This is counted by JBL, who "awards" the WWE US Championship to Orlando Jordan who defends against Cena at JD, while JBL defends against Eddie Guerrero, after Eddie agrees to "special terms" on JBL's part.
What does this have to do with Hulk Hogan? I don't know, but I'd just like to see Muhammad Hassan kick his ass, and make him submit in a sanctioned match at WrestleMania.

Except for the Hogan part...that idea's pure dren. Pure pure dren. Way to kill Cena's credability in one fell swoop.
