How are the Raiders going to stay under the cap? I thought they were already well over after Woodson resigned. I saw Gannon redid his contract and took like 7 million off it, but still.

there gonna be pretty much the same team as last year... Defense = Champions Offense = the Vikings

Unless they can pull the Colts shit out of their asses but I doubt it (Manning > Collins). Colts defense is "better" because teams are forced to pass againest the Colts to keep up since they score so much. So Freeney just goes off, plus thats why they had so many turnovers and shit. Even if they did do that though, they would still won't be winning a championship. Neither will the Colts tho

The Raiders have some very good players, but they aren't solid all around yet to do much more this year. Give them a year or two and with the right personnel moves I could see them making a run at a Super Bowl again.

Is it just me, or are neither of the top 2 QB prospects #1 overall material? The 49ers should either take a running back or trade down to like #10 or so. Then again, I may be completely wrong because I am not an expert on this.

Who knows? Tough to predict with QBs, guys you think are surefire picks end up being busts. Late round draft picks end up winning 3 Superbowls in 4 years as a starter  Rodgers impressed me with his delievery and footwork, shows he puts a lot of time into his game. That translate into good things on the field most of the time

I would bet the Raiders will go about 7-9 or 8-8 next year.

Actually that information was false...those were the numbers at the beggining of the year...resigning of Pennington ect....hurt them alot but they should still have 15 million + in cap room.

Yeah, The only quaterback that was a first round pick in the past 10 years or so was Troy Aikman. I think I heard something like that.

Im not sure if you left something out of that statement because the way it is now is horribly wrong.

:wtf: I thought Blaylock did a pretty nice job filling in for Holmes when he was hurt? Didn't he score 4 TDs in one game? Plus have a few other 100 yard games. I am pretty sure that was Blaylock..Unless I am getting confused.

Blaylock had some great games last year. KC's offensive line is amazing. It can make my grandma look like a great running back.

See every Denver running back in the past 5 years for example. Clinton Portis goes to Washington with a worse offensive line and is exposed as mediocre at best. Same with Blaylock. He's not a great runner. He sucks balls.

lol like it matters. Just another running back that'll fall victim to the Pats.
