we have all seen the list for this years Hall Of Fame inductees

what would your list be? (lets say 10 names) and following WWE "unwritten rules" they shoudl all be retired from inring work

Brutus
Jake The Snake
Ted Dibiase
Hulk Hogan
Legion Of Doom
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Bret Hart (im assuming hes retired?)

but i think if they retired today i would add Ric Flair, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall

Now, should this take into account accomplishments outside WWE. My thinking is it IS the WWE Hall of Fame and therefore, should not. But then again, with a guy like Pete Rose having been inducted, I would feel dumb leaving out a guy like Tully Blanchard simply because he didn't do enough in WWE.

The Pete Rose thing was just because of the controvery about him not being in the baseball hall of fame. At least he could be in SOME hall of fame. He also had his jersey retired for our local Cincinnati Cyclones hockey team, and I doubt he ever even went to a game. I mean, they don't exist anymore, but that's not the point.

I'd make this my list for inductees at this year's Hall of Fame:

Hulk Hogan
Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Rock
Bret Hart
Mr Perfect
Shawn Michaels
Kurt Angle
The Undertaker
Ted DiBiase
Ricky Steamboat
Roddy Piper
Ric Flair
The Brooklyn Brawler
Mr Fuji

I know Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels & The Undertaker are still officially active, but I really think they should be added because they're going to get in anyway, so you may as well do it at a time when two guys are facing off later that night on the card, and the other has a legendary streak up for grabs later that night.

I'm blowing my load with a few guys like Stone Cold and The Rock, as they could do some real good for buys in later years if they get inducted, but I think they could do some good with an era thing going here.

If they keep doing this, they will run out of legends to add in a few years.

I think it's tough to pick just ten, so here are some of the many people who should be in sooner or later -

The Rock
Stone Cold
Kurt Angle
The Undertaker
Shawn Michaels
Mr. Fuji
Mr. Perfect
Rick Rude
Miss Elizabeth
Jake Roberts
Bret Hart
Owen Hart
The British Bulldog(s)
Ricky Steamboat
HillBilly Jim
Pat Patterson
Bruno Sammartino
Gene Okerlund
The Fabulous Moolah
Donald Trump (just to have someone else in the celebrity wing)

The problem with inducting people who still wrestle lies in the fact that it seems to take the prestige away from it. Furthermore, the nostalgia effect that these induction ceremonies seem to induce would be minimized. For example, how special would it seem to be in the Hall of Fame if HBK gets in, but you still see him wrestling on Raw every week?

YEP - you're right. But they'll be in sooner or later, I hope.

I'm just noticing no one else has mentioned Bob Backlund. I'm a little suprised by that.

I can tell you who wouldn't be there, Cowboy Bob Orton. I mean seriously, is he getting it just so his son looks better? I mean if they are going to do that, then Peter Miavia and Rocky Johnson need to get in too.
