Yeah this is fact or fiction. It's back. Rep will go to the people who agree with me.

Start saying what you think.

fact: Easily the best team around when they want to play, and if they "don't want to play" in the NCAA tourney, that's just a shame.

I have Illinois beating them in the finals right now, but I am considering taking that back and bringing Louisville to the final four. UNC is going to have to go through a surging Iowa State team, then Louisville or Georgia Tech, then UConn or a senior heavy Kansas team, then probably Wake. With their history they are bound to lose it somewhere before the finals.

The correct answer (or at least the one that I am saying) is Fact. UNC has the talent level and I think the athleticism to go all the way. The only problem that they should fear is if May has a bad game. And not just points, but rebounds and blocks as well. He is the key to their success.

I will rep everyone that said Fact. F or F #11 will be up shortly.

You are basically having a contest to see who agrees with you on something that is in fact very far from certain. They lost to Santa Cruz, they could lose to Oakland, its all in the air. You are making it seem like trivia, but its not.

I personally agree with Rain Man, I don't think Illinois will get beat. They play in Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis, and they have traveled very well this season. They basically have home court advantage the whole way.

That being said, the way they beat Wake Forest in the beginning of the year is why I like them. It sucks they had to lose a game, but if they hadn't they dominated everyteam and played great basketball all year, and thats something North Carolina hasn't done. They haven't seemed to be super consistant as a whole and losing in the ACC tourny does look good in my opinion. Having all the talent in the world is one thing, but I don't like their attitude.

Once again, it doesn't do much good to say that because NC could blow away the competition or else lose to Oakland, anything is possible. If it was a fact then there would be no point in caring. This isn't trivia.
