It seems a lot of you don't like him, so could you please tell me why?

I like Orton. I just don't like him being pussifies. They horribly botched the whole "face" turn.

Orton is average. Average on the mic, average in the ring, average in everything else he does and the way he delivers his hinisher is below average.

Plus that shot him to the moon way too quickly.

Yeah, they pushed him too much, too soon. I guess that's the general complaint, and I can see what you guys mean.

I don't mind Orton. I'm not his biggest fan, but I started liking him right around Backlash after his match with Foley.

But his biggest problem is just what the WWE has done to him now. He wins the title, then a sudden face turn, then loss of the title after a month.

He should be heel, plain and simple.

I like him as a heel....he is perfect as a heel just like The Rock. But when they turn face I just cant stand them. The WWE shoves them in our face all the time and I just hate the whole thing. I like that they are having him become the legend killer again because that was great for him. Sure they cant schedule a legend everyweek for him to beat up but it was just perfect for him. I hope they make him heel and keep him there with this legend killer thing again.

I think he's a way above average worker and above average on the mic. The finisher thing, though, that's about right. Remember the RNN? That shit was priceless.

Gotta agree with the face turn complaint!

Can't really blame him though. Imagine if the booking tea hadn't shot there load back at Sumerslam! We wouldn't even care about Batista!

Don't get me wrong, I like Batista, I always have, but WM21 really shudda been Orton/HHH!

It's a shame for Orton really, although he is a complete dick behind the scenes!

I think perhaps a lot of the neigh-sayers probably don't like the fact that he more or less was thrust on to the main roster too soon, without paying his dues in OVW just because of his name!!

Hey, I sound like Bobcore!! :D

As a worker I wouldn't say Way above average. Definitely above average on the mic. The finisher's awesome, if you don't mind a second-rate knockoff of a third rate move.

I dunno, I've seen him in a lot of 4 star matches, which is more than I can say for a lot of guys. Maybe it's just because he's had the opportunity to work with some class workers who made him look good?

That's the ish I think. He's been in a lot of high profile matches with good workers. While he's hardly the talent vacuum JBL is, he's going to look better against a lot of the people he's been wrestling.

Again, it doesn't matter too much, since it's his personality that's getting him over.

Or was, before he turned into a pussy.

I don't understand why people don't like him. Like thrilla said, he's had a lot of 4-star matches. He's great as a heel. He just hasn't gotten down the whole face thing. That's no reason to call him a bad worker, or even average IMO.

Also I disagree with everyone on his finisher. DDP used to just drop to the ground with it. Because orton jumps, and gets so much height, it just looks like it has more impact to me. Also when ever he does a counter into it, it flows beautifully.

I like Orton, its just that the Legend Killer gimmick is a heel gimmick.

Last night when he RKO'd Jake I was pissed. It was the first moment that I actually had hatred towards Orton. I wanted to see the DDT :(

From what I understand though, she blew him off earlier, because she didn't know who he was. Wasn't Orton world champion when she got hired? How could she not know who he is? I wonder if she knows who Vince is.

Regardless, she deserved the poop-bag for being utterly and completely retarded.

Orton is the best young wresler in the WWE today IMO. It probably is because he has the most TV time, but still he is very good

Also Right now Orton sells better then any wrestler in the WWE.

Loose Cannon

Orton is not a way above average worker yet. That's a class for 4 or 5 guys right now. He still has a lot to learn in the ring and I'm not just talking about hitting his spots and stuff like that. But he's a lot better then most of the guys. The flying cross-body off the top is a hell of a move.

On the mic, he's ok as long as you can believe what he's saying. As a face, you couldn't care less about what he had to say because frankly is wasn't him. But as a heel, you can believe that what he's saying, he would probably say in real life on how he's better then everyone and how he deserves his spot.

Look, I loved heel Orton from the begginning and I saw a great character. It fit him perfectly. He's definately improved in the ring, unlike Cena, who seems hasn't improved at all.

I hate Orton because he is a no good son of a bitch. The little fuck comes out saying "My pappy and grandpappy were both no-account lacky wrestlers that never amounted to a hill of beans." Then he procedes to suck on the mic, and in the ring. And the push him to the moon and back. All the while he sucks balls. Everything about him is forced, and he has so little natural charisma that it sucks even more.

I agree. Although from what I saw out of Carlito before he got hurt, he might challenge Orton for that title.

I like Orton. I never liked him on a World Title hunt level, so when he was in it, it rubbed me the wrong way. I like the guy, but hes not WT material...yet.

His sort of depush in recent months has made me accept him, and his being built back up is much more effective this time around.

On his finisher, the leap he does is great, but he needs to use two hands. THAT's what gives the move impact.

I like the Legend Killer gimmick....the way he'd just RKO someone just because they were a legend. What fucked it up was his face turn....it was, how shall we say, awful. But now he's going back to his roots it seems which is good as Dave can have someone to fued with other than HHH.

And wtf does RKO stand for anyway??

I would like it to be known that I'm holding down the fort for Ortonmarkland. Even though the rest of you appear to have more fun riding the rides at Batistaworld, I know better. And when you all come back wanting to feel the nostalgia of riding the RKO again, I'll be selling tickets at one rep a piece.

I don't like Randy Orton because he's an average wrestler in an above average spot, just like I don't like JBL for generally the same reasons.

Orton is bland on the mic and if you really listen to some of the shit he says you'll realize that. He's BORING on the mic. He's got a good voice, a tad bit of charisma, but he doesn't say anything particularly funny or interesting or intimidating.

He's unbelievably average in the ring and it shows anytime he gets in there with someone who isn't Benoit, Foley or Edge. He's been carried in every great match he's ever been in, and his move set is ridiculously small. Clothesline. Cross body block. European upper cut. Dropkick. Inverted neckbreaker. RKO. Anything else? I can't think of any. For a guy with such great athleticism and youth, he has the move set of Kevin Nash.

So yeah, I hate Randy Orton because he's incredibly bland and boring and offers me absolutely no entertainment value.

good theme music

good look

ok in the ring

He was great when he was cocky. Then he started to turn into the rock right around his face turn. Even his expressions mirrored the rock. He got bland, and lost to early to HHH in the fued. Then went stone cold and started RKO'ing people constantly. I was waiting for him to truck down in a quad and start calling for beers.

Had the match with Foley and the tack bump, which I gave him credit for.

Didnt see raw this week, but if hes going back to the legend killer, good for him.

And he starts out the move with one arm, but comes down with two.

Actually, on the way down, Orton sort of slaps his opponent in the head with his free hand, instead of gripping the head. It makes the move feel incomplete. I'm fine with him using a move that someone else made famous (even though that man is out of retirement now), I'd just wish that he'd do it correctly. As a matter of fact, his version of the ace crusher WAS looking good from his feud with Foley until after he won the World Title.

By the way....

According to a recent article in the Clanton Advertiser newspaper out of Clanton, Alabama, Randy Orton will in fact be moved to SmackDown permanently. The reason behind the move is apparently to help improve the ratings on Smackdown, and to get Orton away from the RAW Divas.

I'd love to say this confirms it, but what the hell is the Clanton Advertiser?
