Cruiserweight champion Chavo Guerrero is currently out of action with a cracked orbital bone. Guerrero will continue to work TV tapings to continue the Eddy Guerrero/Rey Mysterio storyline. However, the Guerrero vs. Paul Londman match that was never officially announced, looks to be off the Wrestlemania card. Chavo is not expected to wrestle again until after Wrestlemania.

This match never really had a chance. I kinda feel sorry for London because once Psicosis,Juvy and Super Crazy comes in he might never really get a shot. Plus, Dean,Matt Hardy and Hurricane might go to Smackdown after the draft. London you mightest well get used to staying on Velocity for another year or just quit WWE like Spanky and work ROH/TNA shows.

Fuck that. Take the belt, strip Chavo of it, and do a tournament that leads to a fatal four way at Mania for the title.

London should just go to TNA, to be honest. Obviously no one gives a shit about him in WWE, and neither do I b/c I've never even seen him used properly.

And the only reason why they'll care about him is because they'll be told to.

Drop Kidman out of the picture and put in Akio and you would have a pretty good match.

:y:
I swear to god, the series of matches between Akio and London have been the best cruiserweight matches in the division's short history.

What would be cool was if they had a 7 man cruiserweight over-the-toprope battle or something for the #1 contender spot.

Sucks that Chavo is injured but I'm willing to bet that WWE won't entirely drop the CW divison off the card. Yes, I know that they've done it before but it really does seem like they are trying to build the division up.

That does suck to hear. I was wondering why it wasn't announced yet. But since WWE usually couldn't give a crap for the cruiserweights, or they would use the storyline they had to set up the Jericho/Christian ladder match at Unforgiven. Edge was injured, therefore couldn't defend the title in the 30 day time period, so they stripped him and set up the Unforgiven match.
They could do that with the cruiserweights, and just have them go into WM with no champion, and crown one at Mania.

Sucks to be London, but this was probably only going to get 5 minutes tops if it was even on the PPV; more likely this was probably going to be the Heat match anyway.
Better if it's given a decent build up and a good amount of time on a Smackdown, though thats probably not going to happen either.

half?
WWE salary: for london, lets say, something like 50 000 - 100 000$ bucks a year... or something like that :-\
TNA salary: What, 25 bucks per show... :nono:

Hey guys, I know everyone feels sorry for London not getting achance at Mania, but it is Chavo with the cracked orbital bone. Get well soon Chavo. :'(
It is a shame these two won't get a chance at WrestleMania, but I think they can work around this.
Have Paul London com out on SD! and say he wants his title shot at WrestleMania, Theodore R. Long comes out and sas sorry, but it ain't going to happen 'cause Chavo's injured. Paul London gets pissed and demands a shot at WrestleMania. Theodre R. Long then announces Paul London vs. Akio at WrestleMania for the now vacant Cruiserweight Championship.
Give these guys 20 minutes to work their stuff, and I guarantee a good match that can get people caring about the Cruiserweight division. You also still have a feud for London with Chavo Guerrero to cap-off, and I can see an awesome Paul London & Rey Mysterio vs. Los Guerreros match in the near-future for these guys.
The cruiserweights deserve to be represented at WrestleMania, and the best two guys you can slap into a phenominal match without any build (fromt he CW Division) are London and Akio. Althoug Psichosis would make an interesting opponent for Paul London, it's better to be safe with an opponent London knows well.
