View Full Version : Who has dissapointed you the most?
I've got to go with Randy Orton since I was hoping that he'd be or at least come close to being the next Rock or Brock. I think they took him out of Evolution much to quickly. They should have done something like they did with Batista. Show a few arguments and eventually have him lose his cool and beat up Evolution. Even his mic skills aren't that great IMO and he sucks as a face.
His mic skills and in-ring work seem fine to me. I blame the writers for turning him way too fast, and yeah he's not that great as a face but they have to at least try it out because you can't stay heel forever (although again, they rushed the face turn).

If they did what they did with Batista with Orton I think it would have been even better and Orton would be even more over.

I'm most disappointed by Jake Roberts. I love the man to death as a wrestler but he just let himself slip into addiction.

Vince McMahon.
He let not only his company, but the majority of the business, slip into total shit.
Thanks.
Undetaker's Deadman Return: I loved the character before he turned to biker-taker in 2000, and I was so stoked that he was returning to that character at WrestleMania XX. When he came out in that god damned cowboy hat and those god damn leather pants and that god damn tank top, I was more than disappointed. I was pissed off.
Ultimo Dragon: not really his fault, but after all the hype, he was transofrmed into just another cruiserweight.

As far as stuff done in the last couple months. Simon Dean has been a huge disapointment
His promos were great but the fueds went no where past matches with Rosey and Viscera. Nova is an incredible wrestler but has been forced to wrestle more watered down than anyone on the roster. There is so much he has to offer them and they aren't using him at all.
The only way to save him IMO is to draft him to Smackdown and put him in the Cabinet since he is supposed to be a business savy entrepeneur. Then he becomes the cabinets CW contender and they make up some reason why his wrestling skills have expanded past amateur wrestling.

you can't dog Carlito yet, he hasn't had that many matches yet.
BUt Taker's return was a real let down.
Kane, well it's not his fault.
Orton, not as good on the mic for the position that he is in. They basically shot him to the moon far far to quickly.
Hidenrich - what was the point of signing this guy? he looks terrible, his promos are terrible, he looks terrible in the ring, THe only time he was cool was in the commercial.

Well...Simon Dean, Heidenreich and Gene Snitsky (explanations have been said already). I didn´t see John Cenas name mentioned...´cause he has disappointed me since his face turn. Even though I´ve never been into rap, I liked the heel-Cena, with fair promos, and much more diversified in ring work. When I look the Cena nowadays, the difference is huge. His promos sound like they´ve been written by a 10 year old, he has this awfully childish "'Chain Gang", and the spinning US-belt was just f´n awful. And his ring in work...all he does nowadays is "5-knuckle shuffle", suplex, and that friggin FU called fisherman carry slam, which is one of the most over finishers on Smackdown.

yeah I bought Cena's DVD to see his heel stuff again and man compared to now is vastly huge.
Back then he was good. HIs promos were good and all that stuff. And his finisher looked a lot better and devestating then it does now.
I really do miss teh Cena of old when he wrote his own rhymes and really delivered the FU.

I can't stand how when everybody doesn't like somebody they throw everything, including the kitchen sink at the guy. People say Orton's mic skills suck, his in ring work sucks, his finisher looks weak, etc. Everybody says the same things about guys like HHH too, but frankly I don't think anyone actually looks at the real problem. Orton puts himself out there night after night and does a great job on the mic, he throws everything he's got into his matches and sells better than most. Saying that he sucks as a face doesn't make any sense...he's just playing the part that was given to him. I think he's playing that part to a T, just like the Rock played the part of Rocky Miavia to a T. It's not whether he sucks at it, but whether or not that particular gimmick is right for that person. The bookers thought that having the guy who RKOed everybody's old favorite wrestler at one time or another turn into an old school babyface was a brilliant idea, and everybody turns on the actor for it. Just because Star Wars Ep 1 sucked doesn't make Ewan McGregor a bad actor, and likewise, just because Orton's character sucks doesn't mean that Orton sucks. And don't nobody say nothing about his backstage antics because you all hated him for everything long before you knew that it was going on.

Recently, Chris Masters. Anything he can do, lots of others can do better. So what's so great that he's worth these huge promos, or even keeping on after his sloppy ringwork injured Richards?

CARLITO?
Are you insane? He had 2 short matches, and even then his selling is better than half the roster. Not to mention he's fantastic on the mic.
But yeah, Heidenrich is shit.

Kenzo Suzuki. I don't know why but I was expecting more out of this guy when he debuted.
Yeah me too. I mean come on, this guy was originally going to be put into a feud with Benoit for the World title. He must be good. Then they scrap that idea and I figure that was probably due to the controversy the character would create plus the rise of Orton. I was expecting the sort of stereotypical Japanese wrestler. Martial arts kicks and submission wrestling. And when the big debut comes, what is the outcome? A guy who's moveset appears to consist of a chop and a weak ass finishing move.
I could say Masters but then again I didn't expect anything to begin with.
BTW I don't understand how some of you can say CCC.
