Here's the list:

10. King Kong Bundy
9. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper
8. Jesse "The Body" Ventura
7. Bret "The Hitman" Hart
6. Ultimate Warrior
5. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair
4. The Iron Sheik
3. Andre The Giant
2. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
1. Hulk Hogan

I think this list sucks. Let's retool it and debate.

 @ Ultimate Warrior

Warrior was a relative unknown in the 80s.

(most of the 80s, anyway)

They lean a lot to WWE, only Flair is on there representing NWA solely. You need to have Harley Race and/or Steamboat on there

And Dusty Rhodes.

a better list would look like this:

10. Ventura
9. Rude
8. Andre
7. Piper
6. Steamboat
5. DiBiase
4. Race
3. Savage
2. Flair
1. Hogan

and that was just a quickly made one.

I can see Warrior being on that list cause he started gianing a ton of popularity in the 80's.

Bret: NO. He's 90's

Bundy: Shouldn't be on there.

Andre: Tough call cause he was a better worker in the 70's/

Andre: Tough call cause he was a better worker in the 70's/He did have that whole "undefeated" for 15 years thing going into Wrestlemania III, he would have to be on the list just for that event alone

Actually that list just goes to show how irrelevant the NWA was to the general public. Flair is the only guy on there who didn't make his name in the WWE.

The Bret Hart thing though kinda kills any credibility the poll has.

I don't know, what are they basing this off of?

Just pure popularity, who people's favorites were growing up, exposure - what?

If they are going on popularity and exposure, then definitely King Kong Bundy should be on, as he is / was one of the most recognizable / mentioned guys in wrestling. It seems to be a pretty f'd up list, and like CyNick said, with Bret being on it :n:

Warrior does not belong in any top 10.

Maybe most overrated but that's it.
