What? He is!

But his music rules.

Discuss the awesomeness of Sir Elton here.

He's had his moments thats for sure. Playing Candle in the Wind at Diana's funeral was one of them IMO.

(whoa first three words all began with H)

I remember the song in the Lion King, that was okay. But then I started crying when the dad died.</font></b>

He's had a few good songs, but he's mostly crap. His work on the Lion Kig Soundtrack was cool.

Elton John is gay? Say it ain't so!

*waits for the revelation that Stevie Wonder is blind*

in all seriousness, he did some great music at the start of his career, even if his recent stuff is less wonderful.

There's quite a few of his songs I like (probably the ones that'd be regarded as the big ones of his career), but he's not the sort of person who's back catalogue I'd rush out and buy.

That Best Of album is quite enough.

Tiny Dancer, Your Song, Daniel, Candle In The Wind, Crocodile Rock, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me (unfortunately titled, but still), Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Rocket Man, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Something About The Way You Look Tonight, and I Want Love are all phenomenal songs.

Hey, remember when Eminem did the duet with Elton John?

Like how before the concert, he was all "I don't care that he's gay," then after he started getting heat for performing with a gay guy, he was all, like, "Well, I didn't know he was gay."

Yeah, right.

You mean you were only kidding about him being gay?

Phew. Had me worried there for a minute.
