if you have 2 controllers, set up a game Player 1 Vs Player 2, make player 2 steal a relativly long taunt (to give you enought time to switch controllers) and plyer 1 to punch him in the middle of the stolen taunt, viola. challenge done.

how do you do double KOs?

You and your opponent have to have really low stamina. Then you do a move that'll take alot of stamina off of you.

After that, you'll collapse and both of you will be on the canvas in a star shape. Two bars will then appear at each side of the screen (One for you and your opponent) and there will be a little green space in the bars where you'll have to stop an arrow in to regain stamina. Just leave that and let the ref get his 10 count, then you'll both get a double KO.

Store a finisher and take your opponent to the casket. When you are there just keep beating up your opponent until you get another finisher (Now you should have 2 finisher) Then when that happens, do a strong Irish whip to your opponent, whipping him into the middle of the casket. If you've done it right, your opponent should be in the middle of the casket, sitting down. Then you just go over to him and press L1 and L2 and you should do it.

But he can reverse that so you have to be carefull.

With all this talk about casket finishers, I was wondering how many casket specials there are??

I know Undertaker does a powerbomb, Kane does the chokeslam and HBK does a super kick into the casket but does anyone else have a specific casket finisher??

i did a review of the game about a week after buying it (p. 97 this thread). it had positives and negatives - more negatives than positives. now that i have had the game for a few weeks and am a little more familiar with it - my appraisal is more positive than my earlier review. bottom line is that you can just have good, intense matches and the experience is very much like controlling live wrestlers. the season mode is quite good. i especially liked the twist where it turned out to be my character that ran down Teddy Long. so basically, for all intents and purposes N64 No Mercy is out the window.

i havnt even created a superstar yet, because i have been busy "correcting" the move-sets of the existing roster. it is fun to use them once you have "corrected" their move sets because they then really wrestle like the real superstars, and you get a better idea of how to use each wrestler that way. however, it is annoying that the creators of these games do such a poor job putting the move-sets together in the first place. the problem that i forsee as far as creating wrestlers is going to be face-morphing to make a face look like a known wrestler who is not included on the game (like in SDVR 1 ) - it is fucking hard.

the only major problem i have with the game is lack of original (or extra) theme music. they actually had the balls to make two each of the few that they have.

minor problems are as follows:
- in steel cage matches, i am able to climb to the top of the cage, but not climb down the other side - the only movement my wrestler will make from the top of the cage is a diving attack against the opponent.
- i still find the sleeper hold arm raise mini-game to be a bad thing. i press the X button like it says, but the marker just drops as though i am not pressing any button at all. so basically, if i get caught in that situation - game over.
- button wise, i think i can come up with a simpler and better grappling system.

even with these shortcomings, this game is far more entertaining than, say, watching WWE programming.

Whatever you do, don't play against Batista or Cena, they're almost impossible to defeat.

They reverse about 95% of everything and it's impossible for you to reverse there moves.

I was playing against Cena (I was Angle) and he reversed every single Angle Slam and other moves I tried to hit him with. I tried to reverse his moves but I couldn't. I was like a punching bag.

And I was playing against my brother (I was my CAW and my brother was Batista) and I couldn't reverse any of his moves, but my brother reversed ALL of my moves.

I think the only reason Batista and Cena are like that is because they are on the cover of the game.:nono:

Reason for this is that the computer RARELY, and I mean RARELY will do a stolen taunt. I've had the game since day one, and I've only seen it once.

Batista isn't that difficult at all to beat, Cena though is a bitch. Angle and Triple H I find are the hardest to beat.

managed to get it done, took a lot of work but here is how I did it.

1. Edited my opponents finishing moves to turnbuckle moves (ie Dudley Dog), this prevents him executing the finisher if you end up groggy or on the mat.

2. When the opponent has his finisher stored, go to town on him and make sure your momentum is high and his is low.

3. Now is the oppurtunity for the opponent to do the stolen taunt. Stay back and let him taunt. When he FINALLY does it interupt it.

I played this challenge on Normal mode and went Undertaker and used Hogan as the CPU.

So far I've created Taz (whom I'm in love with and I have finally perfected his moveset). AJ Styles (who I think looks good, not spectacular but very, very good. His moveset is perfect, minus the Styles Clash being such a weak ass finisher), and the Dudley Boyz who appearance wise I'm thrilled, I haven't touched their moveset yet as it's one of the defaults in the game.

Aarrgh! If you mean the new sleeper hold system then you simply PRESS X when the ball is in the green area! It's easiest to do this on the 3rd hand drop! Just wondering if anyone has actually reversed the sleeper rather than just escaped it? Also is the Cena as champ storyline the same as the one where you are the one who ran down TL? What the hell is the obsession with the CPU and picking up everything?

I know this has been talked about before, but...I wanna talk about it now.

I was having a TLC Match, I was RVD and I was facing Masters. I kicked his ass and set him up on the table and climbed the ladder. (No points for guessing what I'm wanting to do.:D )

But then Masters gets up, and picks up the table, moves about four steps and sets it up. Then he gets the ladder and sets it up where it was before he picked it up.

And then after the moves he reverses, he pickes up a weapon and just puts it back down again.:wtf:

The same thing keeps happening with the FYF match, all the bimbos seem to do it pick up the pillows, they don't use them, they just pick them up.:nono:

And has anyone noticed this. You're kicking the CPU's ass and most of it's body is red, it hardly reverses or anything like that. But as soon as you get a finisher (When your bar is flashing) the CPU just suddenly becomes immortal, it's kicks your ass, and reverses everything you try to do. Then when your bar stops flashing, it's weak as a kitten again.:wtf:

Ladder matches are gay, because if the computer knocks you off the ladder you stay down for about a minute, but if you do it to them they get up after about 3 seconds. SO ANOYING.

I was lying on the ground for about 4 seconds then I started to hold my stomach and roll around in pain for about 6 seconds. Then I lay on the ground for another 4 seconds before I got up again.

I have only ever hit two frog splashes, one prefectly, and one after Hogan rolled the wrong way.

The 5 Star Frog Spash is the easiest to hit.

Just get your opponents head and torso red, then put them in the corner facing out to the crowd, then just press right and circle and when the move is done do the 5 Star Frog Spash.:)

I've never missed with the 5 Star Frog Spash but I've only hit the Frog Spash about 4 times. I've gave the move to Chavo since I don't play as Eddie anymore.

my friend was on there letting me do it..
so i tried to do it but kept punching so i got pissed off. Then he was there saying come down so i just pressed x again and jumped off...

I just started my "season" with New Year's Revolution. I "vacated" all the RAW titles (meaning I put them all on SD guys so that the RAW guys wouldn't come out with them during their matches).

New champs are as follows:

World: Shawn Michaels (won an Elimination Chamber against HHH, Kane, RVD, Cena, and Shelton)

Intercontinental: Chris Masters (won a Battle Royal against Big Show, Eugene, Val Venis, and Lance Cade)

Tag Team: Snitsky and Tomko (beat the Heart Throbs)

Women's: Trish Stratus (won a Fatal Fourway against Victoria, Mickie James, and Lita by pinning Lita at almost the exact same time that Mickie was tapping out to Victoria)

Smackdown Heavyweight: John Cena. Not intentionally, he won in a Battle Royal. Prior to that, Chris Jericho beat all takers (Including Triple H, and Benoit, who he toppled to take the title in the first place). I've simulated the results on most of my matches, and he's owning even the Game, who was originally un-fucking-beatable.

US Champion: Edge
. I'm currently feuding him with Taran, a CAW.

Cruiserweight Champion: Tajiri This is no big deal, I currently have three Cruisers: S2H, Tajiri, and Captain Charisma.

Tag titles: Amaranth/James The other two CAWs in my stable.

I knocked Orton in the head with a chair a bunch of times, hit the somersault legdrop off the top rope, knocked him in the head with the chair again, Axe Kick, Book End, and a bunch of other moves and he just gets up with ease. Then he hits me with the Super RKO and I'm dead. WTF?

Was Ric Flair against Orton in a ladder match. Beating up Orton, gets up with ease, then he suplexes me off the ladder and I'm dead. :mad:

I was playing online once, and it was a fatal fourway TLC. I was my Sonic the Hedgehog character and I was down, one guy went up to the top of the ladder and attempted a shooting star press, but he flew over the ropes and landed on the floor :cool:

I had that problem today. I was trying to promote my Christian/Tajiri feud and keep Tajiri's spirits up by getting him a win. I was in a ladder match. So I've hit Christian with a few Buzzsaw kicks, and he's legit hurting. He hits me with a move or two, then goes for the belt. I grab his legs, pull him down, he gets up in like 5 seconds.

I then Buzzsaw kick him, and go up to the title. He grabs my legs, I go down, and even though I have no damage markers on my body and am well rested, I stay down long enough for him to move the ladder, pause, climb up it, and grab the title. Fucking A.

RVD just won the WWE title after hittinng 3 Five Star Frog Splashes on Kurt Angle in the Elimination Chamber. The third and final Frog Splash came from the top of one of the chambers.

I was playing a match against Lita the other day. I was RVD and it went fucking 18 minutes on Legend. I COULDEN'T KEEP FUCKING LITA DOWN FOR THE 5 STAR FROG SPLASH! And she fucking BEAT ME when she hit me with a fucking SLEDGEHAMMER and hit her DDT!

I noticed a huge screw up on the game two days ago.

I was playing a tag team match and it was Richards and Scotty VS RVD and Chavo.

They all came out and they were introduced by Chimmel, but then I thought I heard Chimmel say something that wasn't right about RVD and Richards, so I finished the match and made another Tag Match.

RVD and Richards VS Carlito and Diavari. (Just picked them at random)

Now here's the screw up.

RVD was introduced as weighing in at 230 lbs
Richards was introduced as weighing in at 220 lbs (He's lighter than RVD)
Carlito was introduced as weighing in at 230 lbs (He's the same as RVD)

So Carlito and RVD are heavier than Richards but Richards can't qualify as a Cruiserweight but RVD can, but Carlito is the same weight as RVD and he can't qualify either.

That's a massive THQ screw up there.

I played trough the season mode and finished it with both brands.

I got to say i'm kind of disappointed, the story/season mode is even shorter then last year. ( or so it seems )

The voice acting is alot better comparing it with last years game.

I'm disappointed that there isn't a mode or option to draft rosters in season mode, cause in season mode there are alot of wrestlers that are with different brand nowadays.

Another down part is the fact that alot of wrestlers that are in the game are fired or released, other then that it's an great game.

Just hope that they'll try to put in a better/bigger roster this year or next year( yeah, i know it's hard to do with all the roster changes and wrestlers that are getting fired/released ) when ever it may come out and a season mode that lasts longer then one year would be nice too.

Does this happen to anyones copy of the game?

If you play the game and you turn it off, then about 10 minutes later you want to play it again, so you turn it on and the game takes forever to load. (And when I say forever, I mean about 15 minutes that feels like forever)

And the music sticks and stops, and it crashes.

So you have to wait 45 minutes to play the game again so it doesn't do any of that.

Yeah, story mode feels much shorter. In fact, I still have trophies I need, but because I've beat Raw and Smackdown's story modes, I've been putting it off because I don't want to bother.

Also, since the three ways/Fatal Four ways are so damn frustrating...
