View Full Version : WWE PPV Webcast
So I've been fucked out of watching WrestleMania on Sunday because my cable provider is having problems with their PPV system and they don't know when it will be back up.
I was wondering, for anyone who's ordered a WWE PPV Webcast before, how good is the picture and is it worth the $50 they charge? Also, do you absolutely have to watch it at 7pm, or can you view it at a later time? And can you save it on your computer to watch again? Thanks.

They charge you 50 bucks for a webcast version?! Once the webcast version used to be like 10 bucks cheaper...at least that's how it was back in 99...man I gotta get with the times!
yeah, no shit huh? but that still doesn't answer my question - IS IT WORTH IT?

Ive never ordered one, but my guess is that its gotta be pretty good. They've been doing this for a while now, so I'd assume they have their shit together by now.
I know early on there were a lot of issues with this format, but that was quite a while ago.
But I would use that as a last resort, check out bars of friends first.

Or find a Blast Zone....I would of been going to one of those if my B/F hadn't ordered it.
closest "hot spot" (bar or local place where they show WWE programming) is like three hours away. none of my friends are into wrestling - especially not enough to order a PPV.
FUCK. I guess I'll have to wait til May 12th for the DVD to come out. Enjoy the PPV, you lucky assholes.

I'd imagine the picture quality is similar to the other streaming matches and entrance videos you can watch. As long as your high-speed connection is decent like mine, it should be pretty good.
