I heard Koko was fired from the WWF/E after an incident overseas as he was was protecting Shawn Michaels. Does anyone have the details?

He was teaming with Owen Hart at the time of his quitting/firing. They were know as High Energy.

He's been in Jerry Lawler's Memphis Wrestling a few times.

He must still have a decent relationship with WWE, because he is allowing a WWE figure to be made of him.
