I knew John Cena was gonna win it....I didnt think Batista was gonna get it. I really dont see him as a champ so I figured they might have him get cheated out of the win and then get another shot down the road.

But it doesnt matter because I predict Edge will be the champ sometime this year.

I knew both faces were going to win, but Batista was definitely a tough one to see.

Anyhow, I think this might mark the first time in WWE where the face/protagonist (Batista) had no problems whatsoever! The guy was on top of Triple H the whole time...never had one moment where he was screwed.

Amazing.

I thinnk Batista will retain at Backlash. This looks the same as last year... Backlash main event is a wrestlemania rematch... we're all thinking... "how long will he have the title"... Batista wins... next half of the year is spent beating on Triple H, making this look like THE YEAR when Triple H is finally going down... by Summerslam(ish), Triple H FINALLY gets it back, after months of us thinking there is no way he is gonna be champ again.

Batsita can't hold it that long. With Trips runnin the show and stuff. I was a lil surprised that HHH extended his WM losing streak though. Lost at XX and now at XXI

I'm callin it now. WMXXII, no matter who he is going against HHH will win a title.

Elton John would have done a better job than Lemmy at singing HHH's theme.

And you know what? That's NOT a fucking compliment.

Gonna be a tough call to predict whether they allow Batista to carry it into Summerslam. Benoit got a nice run last year, but the focus wasn't really on the him or the belt anyway. At least until his match with Orton.

If Batista does good business, then keep the Title with him. But knowing the WWE as soon as they see some numbers drop, they'll get scared and put the Title right back on HHH.

Here's the difference: Batista is a hoss. Benoit isn't. How much do you wanna bet that the focus stays on Batista?

Not one moment where he was screwed? Did you miss the part where HHH used the title belt? They had me for a second thinking that was how the match was going to end.

I apologize to Pull My Finger for taking his statement the wrong way. Going back and re-reading the post I can see how he could be talking about the entire build up instead of the match itself, however it is a little vague. It could easily be understood either way. I apologize though.

Cena is over right now, and if they were smart, they would give him a JBL type run, except for Cena will actually look strong in his matches. I think they're afraid to give long title runs to faces anymore, unless of course HHH turned babyface. Props to HHH for at least putting over Batista really well at Mania, even if Batista will drop back down the card later this year.
