I was thinking about a lot of the young guys in the WWE, and how for the past couple years the main event/upper-midcard scene has been dominated by established veterans.

When Orton comes back, do you think he could start up a new "Natural Born Thrillers" esque stable. A stable of cocky, young superstars who want to oust the Benoits/Jerichos/Kanes. Hell they could even go after HHH since he's dominated the main event (and airtime....and everything else).

Say Orton comes back, he grabs a bunch of guys. He can recruit Shelton (who'd be awesome as a heel who can really back it up in the ring), Jindrak, Cade, and a couple newly debuted guys. Take it a couple guys would need to be switched in a draft, but I could see this working and help bring in the new blood.

So would you guys all be down for this idea? If so, who'd you have in it, and if not, why not?

Discuss.

Y'know..I was just thinking something similar. For the last couple of years we've had John Cena, Randy Orton, and the 36 year old Batista shoved down our throats as the "future of the WWE." Meanwhile, a bunch of young, really talented workers have started popping up on both shows that deserve a bigger push.

Orton is a good start, because he's young AND established. I like Shelton Benjamin, Mark Jindrak, Rob Conway (instead of Cade), Franki Kazarian when he debuts, and as an added wildcard, Muhammed Hassan. Hassan gives the group instant heat, he'll need something to do once the angry foreigner gimmick plays itself ut, and, to be honest, I think Hassan has all the tools to be a real superstar eventually.

The main thing is that the WWE needs to actually let a group like this get some big wins, something the WCW never wanted to do. I'm still confused why it was booked so that the fans were supposed to cheer the Millionaire's Club, instead of the hungry young upstarts.

NBT = :drool:

Maybe my favorite stable ever, despite bad booking. The collection of talent in the original was phenomenal. The new one could work when the next wave of OVW call-ups happen.

Orton, Benjamin, Jindrak, Johnny Nitro, Matt Cappotelli, Brent Albright, and Johnny Jeter would make for a pretty cool stable.

I'm against a "new" (insert old stable/tagteam/gimmick) on principle alone.

Ortan was champ, Cena is champ, Shelton (is IC champ) is starting to get a huge push, and Carlito was getting a huge push before he got hurt. I think enough new guys are coming around.

Sylvan being a French-Canadian isn't actually a gimick.

And do you mean Johnny Nitro or Matt Capotelli? Because they're not the same person.
