I was just looking around on the net and apparently im guessing they have changed the name of the new XXX movie.

Instead of it being called State of the Union its now The Next Level

Sadly this movie wont be a success......but I will probably see it anyways.

And for those wondering why they are continuing it with out Diesel....its because in the movie they say that hes dead. So apparently there goes any chance for him making a return in XXX3......like there will ever be one.

yea ive seen the adds on tv also...

but they did the same thing with X2

They had trailers on TV and at the theatres calling it X-Men 2 and X2 and then suddenly it was all changed to X2 X-Men United

I dont know if the change is officail for the XXX movie because everywhere I have looked still reports it as State of the Union so I dont know if they changed it and the other sites just havnt done it yet or if thats just a mess up.

There's a difference between using a promotional title like "X-2" And changing the name of a movie. Adding a subtitle is a lot smaller than changing the name of a movie.

Pretty minor deal going on.

Anyway, it'd be a bad idea to change the name now (Though I think BOTH titles suck), though it's still possible. Stilll, unlikely, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.

I kind of hope that this movie will be a success. It would make for a decent action genre series, but the problem is they need to get to the point of making a solid sequel beofre they can try and do the whole "next Bond" thing.

So is this a sequal to Triple X? Whats the deal with sequals these days? The Mask has a sequal, Miss. Congeniality is getting a sequal, The Sandlot got a freakin sequal, Bring It On got one, even though they both sucked, first one was still better. X-Men. Probably more. They might as well make a sequal to Rocky. Oh, they did that already.

I think it's only State of the Union here in the US. I remember reading they were gonna call it The Next Level overseas.

this is where I saw it....I dont know if the name is changed everywhere else sense this is the international trailer but that is where I saw the name change at.

Either way both names are still crap for this movie....the movie is just pure crap.

Kind of like most of the blacks on TV are proud to be black, and are against racism, but ain't too proud to act out the minstrel show on a regular basis.

Why? In both cases, I'd wager the same: The money's good.
