1997- Badd Blood- Hell in a Cell: Shawn Michales vs. The Undertaker

2003- Bad Blood- Hell in a Cell: Triple H vs. Kevin Nash w/ Mick Foley as the Special Guest Referee

2004- Bad Blood- Hell in a Cell: Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels

2005- ?????

Will they do Hell in a Cell again this year? Who do you think will be in it?

Not to be picky, but there is no Bad Blood this year.

They are doing Vengeance in June as the RAW PPV.

I guess if they wanted to make that the "HIAC PPV" they could have HHH win the title from Batista at Backlash, and then do the rubber match in the cell.

Why is there no Bad Blood?

yeah, i was wondering this too. It <s>could</s> would mean ratings if there was a HIAC match at each Bad Blood. People love HIAC matches.

Usually it's Bad Blood in June and Vengeance in July, but this year Vengeance has been moved to June, and in the same month the ECW PPV will replace Bad Blood.

I remember that the December 2001 PPV was Vengeance and later in the summer of 2002 they had another Vengeance. What was up with that?

all I could think of is that Vengeance sounds cooler than Bad Blood

Armageddon used to be the December PPV but they changed it to Vengeance for some reason. Then the WWE were having complaints about the July PPV's name - Fully Loaded. So they changed it to Vengeance and put Armageddon back as the December PPV.

They should bring back In Your House. Where the PPV'swould have different names all the time. That was cool.

The official reason for changing Armageddon 2001 to Vengeance was because of Sept 11. I believe on the wwe parents site they stated that they didn't want to use the Armageddon connotation b/c of the mobilization of the American military. Also, Fully Loaded was just a bad name for a PPV do they decided to bring back Armageddon in 2003 and replace Fully Loaded w/ Vengeance.

I want them to bring back PPVs named after superstars. Like Rock Bottom and Break It Down. You could have something like WWE: In Your House 18746: Word Life.

Nah, I kid. That would suck.

Yes that was very cool. Beware of Dog, Final Four, Canadian Stampede etc. were all cool shows, with names relevant to the storylines. The only problem I see with going back to the IYH style names is the writers would have to constantly think of new and interesting names to keep the fans interested. Plus, the current way is simpler from a fan's perspective:

"Hey! You remember Backlash last year?"
as opposed to
"Hey! You remember what happened on ... oh what was it called?"

They should take tips from NCW on how to name PPVs.

Fully Loaded is a pretty crap name for a PPV.

I also thought the Fully Loaded PPV's weren't the greatest either, though they did do that Triple Main Event thing, with Jericho vs. HHH Last Man Standing, Angle vs. Austin?? and Benoit vs. Rock if I recall.

I liked the Fully Loaded name.

and Bad Blood started out hot with Taker vs. Shawn in the Cell.

then of course it went to crap later on down the line.
