Are they going to use him anymore? I looked on the wwe site and they had a poll for who the viewers thought the next #1 would be, and Taker wasn't on there. You'd think with his win over Orton that h'd get back into a title scene. Do you guys think that the wwe is just going to not use him anymore? :wtf:

no. it's just that he doesn't have to be in the title scene
also if you watched Smackdown! you would know why he wasn't in the poll but the others were
did you watch smackdown this week? that would answer your question as to why he's not on the poll. But doesn't answer the more general question of why he's not in the title scene.
But I don't think they'd stop using taker.. he is a big draw, the marks loved orton, and all it took was for him to go against taker to get "orton sucks" chants.

Okay, let's think about this:
Was the Undertaker at every Smackdown event before wrestlemania? Is he usually on every show?
Come on, Mark has very little left in his tank. After a fifteen minute no-sell streak, he NEEDS to take some time off...To recuperate.
Also, realistically, Undertaker should be nowhere near the mzin event scene. The 6 people they've got vying for the #1 conteders are good enough, especially for a shitty title on a B-Show.

WHAT THE FUCK IS SMACKDOWN?

I agree. Though they've been booked so poorly that it's hard to care.
The point is, it should be at least a rival to Raw. but it's not. The minute it was doing better ratings, we get a watered down Smackdown. Smackdown's been a little better of late, but the Cena reign is gonna SUCK if they don't let him loose.
It's a B show as is, whatever it could be. That's why Undertaker holds down the talent on it, while the Son-in-Law squashes them on the important show.

I really hope that they try to improve SmackDown, even though it has been way better lately.
They need to do something with getting more faces to SmackDown that could go for the title. Eddie is a face, but he is stuck in mid-card, and I doubt he'll get back to the main event anytime soon (make that my prediction for how this #1 contender thing for him will be next week). I don't think they will EVER let Booker be a champion, as much as I think he SHOULD be. Angle could be a good face, but he is a heel right now, and why they are keeping him heel this damn long, I can't fathom. We ALL know the Undertaker will have one title shot a year, all unsuccessful. Big Show is about the only face that could be that creditable for the title, and even he is questionable. SMACKDOWN NEEDS MORE FACES FOR THE MAIN EVENT SCENE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!! This is why I want to see this 2nd annual draft lottery thing. Let's face it, they can't screw SmackDown over much more...CAN THEY?!! :shifty:

WHAT THE FUCK IS SMACKDOWN?
Which is exactly what the writers said when they found out the WWE had a second show.

The Undertaker may hold people down, but at least he can still draw (to some extent). the crowd loves him, and doesn't cut 30-minute promos on how the WWE title is his and his alone, unlike some people on that "monday night show."
We should be at least grateful for that, right? :-\

Smackdown needs quality HEELS as well, so turning Angle's a BAD idea.

'Cept he actually makes Hunter look good in the ring.
I'd honestly rather see a Triple H match than an Undertaker one. He still has more entertainment value in him when he tries.
Taker hasn't had any passion for this business for years it seems. He can't do the Deadman, and that's all fans really want to see MArk do. He doesn't seem to have any energy in the ring, and hearing him take 4 minutes to say "randyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Oooooooooooooooooortonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn" is as annoying as oldschool Triple-Uh...H-uh.
And do you know how much I hate saying that? Not only does it further my rep as a "taker hater" because I dislike his place in current wrestling, but because it forces me to give Hunter his due. Small dues, because he's a lazy wrestler who hasn't cut a decent promo since like 99...But still.
Though to be fair, I'd rather watch an Undertaker match than a Jarrett Match.

Taker doesn't need the title. He's the living proof of getting over without holding the title. While many hate him, I like the Undertaker. He's put up with a lot of shit (not backstage politics, but the shit he's had to try and carry for 15 years). Giant Gonzales, Kama, Heidenreich, A-Train, Taker feuded with them all. Also he brings his a-game to big matches, like at Wrestlemania.
