i watched this again today. i had always though it was good, but i didn't realize till today how f</>ucking amazing this movie is.

it's the coen brothers, which is enough incintive for you to see it. it's about this guy who has a boring life in a boring town and takes drastic measures to try and get out, which backfires.

cast is excellent. billy bob thornton plays the lead which should have won an oscar. frances mcdormand, james gandolfini, jon polito, michael badalucco, and SCARLETT JOHANSSON are also in it.

i might go as far to say this is the best coen brothers movie, which is really saying something considering basically all of their films can be considered some of the greatest of all time.

Yea it's amazing, I seem to appreciate it a little bit more every time that I see it . The black and white cinematography is awesome. I can like turn down the sound and just watch it for the shadows and shit, I dunno it's just beautiful :o .

I thought the move was amazing the first time I saw it. Great film overall.

Great cast too.

And yes, Scarlett Johansen is an amazing young actress and I have a feeling she's going to win an Oscar.

I went into it thinking that the Coens had lost their touch cause O Brother Where Art Thou sucked big time

yeah the black and white adds so much more to the movie. like usually if i'm watching an older movie i'll be wishing it was in color, but this is one of the few movies that i would not enjoy watching in color.
