Well, this is my very first post at TPWW forums. Although I'm not entirely new to posting. I was formerly Benoit_2001 @ WWFWG forums and StoneColdStunner @ another board[whose name I cannot remember, but, what the hell :lol: ]. This seems like a cool board to make my posting return, so, here I go........
There are several WWE thoughts I have and will discuss;
Rhyno & Hardy released?! WTF? I have been seeing the latest rumors about Hardy/Lita/Edge, but, I definetely thought Hardy would be put on the show opposite of Edge & Lita. Matt Hardy didn't even scratch the surface of his potential in WWE. This is what pisses me off about the WWE. You have Randy Orton going around pulling all kinda pranks and he goes unpunished. Yet, when Matt Hardy is caught in the middle of a love triangle, he's released. This, IMO, is simply because of two reasons;
1]The WWE didn't know how to punish all involved, so, instead chose the easy way out, and released Hardy.
2]The WWE didn't plan on using Hardy anyway; also partly because the WWE has NEVER used V1 right. Matt Hardy has been misused and underrated every since his return to RAW. So, since the WWE already cannot keep all their talent in good angles[see Kane's character], they once again took the easy way out.
I must also say Rhyno being released came as quite the shocker. Rhyno carried ECW through its dying days and was one of the best "hardcore" ECW champions in the companies history. I kinda find it unbelievable that Rhyno was supposedly released all because of smashing a flower pot in a hotel. I understand Rhyno represents the WWE on and off camera. But, once again, Randy Orton has done MUCH worse and gotten away with it. Arguements could be made that Rhyno was as much a part of the future as Orton. So, it just doesn't make sense to release him before he'd even been given a fair push.
The Rumored Upcoming Draft lottery;
This is supposedly rumored to happen on next week's "RAW supershow". I hope so. Smackdown is way inferior to RAW at current time. The only top stars on Smackdown are Booker, Taker, Angle, Cena, Eddie, and JBL. Meanwhile, RAW has HHH,HBK,Edge,Jericho,Benoit, Christian, Shelton Benjamin, etc. The point is Smackdown cannot touch RAW. Admitingly though, RAW has a better mid-card than Smackdown. The US title division on Smackdown sucks. Orlando Jordan is a bad choice for US Champion. Hardcore Holly, Charlie Haas, Big Show, Luther Reigns, Mark Jindrak, or Carlito Carribean Cool would all be better choices for US Champ than Jordan. The only reason he was even considered for US Champ is because he's involved in the storyline with JBL[as his 'chief of staff']. Smackdown has the tools to be as good a show as RAW. However, changes will HAVE to be made. A draft lottery would only help. I feel guys like Kane, HBK, Jericho, Orton, and Christian should all go to Smackdown and get better chances on their current careers. Especially Kane. This guy has been on a downward spiral ever since losing the WWF Title back in 98 to Austin[making him a one-day champ]. Ever since, Kane has lost that 'edge' to being a "monster". Moving to Smackdown would help. Also, maybe some Smackdown guys could go to RAW. Bottom line; a new draft would benefit both sides and make both shows interesting again.
Well, those are my thoughts on current WWE rumors and opinions. What are your thoughts?
