Somebody's Gotta Die

Before I say anything, I'd just like to say that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, The Rock and Mick Foley still get huge reactions out of a crowd... They should be used to a certain extent on WWE programming... This could stir up some interest and improve ratings... All 5 guys are very talented legends and hopefully some will have one more memorable run... This can especially be said for the Rock, who is still so young...

With the release of Molly Holly, it further thins out the depth of the women's division... The division is left with Lita, Trish and Victoria, as well as a bunch of Diva Search contestants... And apparently they are having a new one... These girls can't wrestle and women's wrestling has become pretty stale now... It might be a good idea to permanently scrap the title and just leave whichever women for the basic segments, bra&panties matches and possible feuds with the likes of Trish & Victoria... With the news of more Diva Search contestants on the way, the division is going nowhere... In the last few months, we have said goodbye to the following divas:
Molly Holly :n:
Jazz :n:
Gail Kim :n:
Jacqueline :n:
Nidia :-\
Shaniqua :-\
Amy Weber :-\
Ivory is also inactive as a wrestler now...
It's time to scrap the division and basically limit it to the really hot women that can work the mic and throw on an occasionally decent match without struggling... Women's wrestling peaked at a point a year ago, however things have gone downhill with all these releases... It's a shame, however nobody really raved about women's wrestling to begin with... It's never been a real highlight and doesn't really mean much in terms of the title itself...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tag-team wrestling has gone on an extreme downfall and there is no point of having two divisions... It's better leaving the U.S. title, the WWE title and the Cruiserweight title on SmackDown! with the World Ttitle, IC title and tag titles on RAW... This could add some meaning to the tag division and get more interest in cruiserweights with the upcoming debuts of Super Crazy and Frankie Kazarian, as well as possible runs from Juventud Guerrera and Psychosis...
The best thing to do is move all the teams from SmackDown! to RAW... This would mean that the tag division on RAW would consist of:
Dudley Boyz
Basham Brothers
Resistance
Regal/Eugene
Maven/Simon Dean
Although even this seems thin, more teams can be built as tag-team wrestling could become a focus on RAW... This will resemble the early days of wrestling with the cruiserweights and the U.S. title on SD! (WCW) and the IC and tag-titles on RAW (WWF)... However, it's strange because the World title should be on SD! and the WWE title should be on RAW, in my opinion... Simply because both shows better resemble their previous promotion...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
TRADE Hurricane & Tajiri to SD! ... That speaks for itself... Basically, their run on RAW is running tiresome and they are being buried instead of acting as potential cruiserweight contenders since both are pretty damn good... This could really expand the cruiserweight division:
Rey Mysterio
Chavo Guerrero
Billy Kidman
Paul London
Tajiri
Hurricane
Akio
Nunzio
S2H
Shannon Moore
Funaki
Spike
Frankie Kazarian
Super Crazy
*possibly* Juventud Guerrera
*possibly* Psychosis
The possibility of Crazy-Nunzio-Tajiri matches for the title could be really good... And the list of talent is pretty good... Although guys like Spike & S2H don't really matter, lots of guys like Rey, Kidman, London & Chavo are true talents...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last rant...
5 PEOPLE TO FIRE
Heidenreich - horrible altogether
Rosey - very limited in talent
Val Venis - tiresome, won't get over again
Kenzo Suzuki - not contributing much, that's for sure
Shannon Moore or S2H or Spike or all 3 - :-\
5 PEOPLE TO HIRE
*aside from Guerrera & Psychosis...*
AJ Styles - damn good
America's Most Wanted - superb tag-team
Primetime Elix Skipper - excellent
Christopher Daniels - greatest indy worker, IMO
Sting - a WWE run for him could be memorable if booked right
Unless of course TNA actually makes a run on cable and could challenge the WWE in any way... If not, I guess WWE should just buy out their best talent... However, seeing a feud between 2 promotions on cable could be what wrestling needs to spark up again... Depends on if TNA can work out something with Spike, I guess...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
You might as well keep Holly to work some Velocity matches with beginners and he can run something with Al Snow if there's ever anything Tough Enough-related going on... A Holly/Snow team could be interesting if Snow was still active and Holly was still over... :-\
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's about all I have to rant about today...
